What Decimates Bees?

All fashion issues and Red Carpet buzz aside, I’m guessing you might have heard about the Bees Issue. It has become a very sensitive matter since the bees number across the world continues to drop alarmingly in the last years (the bees population has dropped with 50% in the last 30 years, at least in the U.S. and the U.K.).

Studies have been conducted, statements have been released, some saying that some fertilizers are responsible for the bees killing spree as the said substances contain something deathly for the bees. Now some other research has surfaced saying that bees are killed by the signals of our very own cell phones!

When ringing, the signals emitted act as danger transmitters for the bees, urging them to leave their hive. However, the frequency of the cell phones in use (transmitting, aka in conversation) disorients the bees, pushing them to act erratically and to drop dead, suddenly. I’m confused. Is that real? Because if it is, it’s catastrophic! (via)

Human kind is their own worse enemy….*sad*…..and there is also “Blood on the Mobile”. Please google that up dear readers and please stop buying every year the newest mobile gadget…..I feel tears welling up for the lives of the poor in Africa, the generation after us and the lovely bees who provide us their great honey. Just finished eating a slice of bread with their work for honey…..:((

This truly has me worried because we need bees in our ecology, they are intrinsic to us all!
I hope that something can be done to remedy this dire situation.
