We’ve seen so many mad, mad fashthings around here. After each stunt I keep telling myself that from that point on, nothing will raise my eyebrows high anymore. I keep being proved wrong time after time and this is the latest in the series:
A project of the Bath Spa University which will be displayed at the 2011 Royal Bath & West Show in an effort to promote the Bath’s region famous cheese is the latest weird fashdo. The participating students submitted their projects and this, I presume, was the most notable one, as it’s making the rounds of the interwebs. It belongs to Lisa Dillon, a Fashion, Textile and 3D Design student with the Bath University and she called it “Jimmy Cheese“.
Yes, they’re made of cheese: cheddar for the heel, stale cheese sandwich for the platforms, cheddar and melted cheese for the top embellishments. This project puts the “cheesy shoes” name to test! (Metro via)

Oh well, it’s an art project. The name is funny and it’s well done too. But how much I love cheddar and I love it a lot I’d rather not eat these ‘cheesy shoes’….ewww…..:D
Cheese is for eating, not for wearing but this art project is a bit of fun and well designed. : )
Talk about cheese smelling like feet! Now it really will :P
