Now that the Emmys are out of the way, aren’t you looking forward for the next pretext to release your inner fashionista? I am. I was, actually. Until I saw this PSA.
Meant to draw attention and crowds to the Fashion’s Night Out, the 2010 edition (September 10), the video only raised my eyebrows. High, high high (think Linda Evangelista high). It’s hysterical (and not in a good way). Chaotic. Shallow. Unprofessional (though it was shot by the renowned Peter Lindbergh). And we still wonder why people don’t take fashion seriously? Shop. Shop. Shoooooop! (30 seconds with some of the most gorgeous models in the world: Jourdan Dunn, Liya Kebede, Sasha Pivovarova, Chanel Iman, Stella Tennant, Karlie Kloss, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Caroline Trentini, Karolina Kurkova, Joan Smalls, Miranda Kerr, Lara Stone, Lily Donaldson. 30 scary seconds! Luckily the photos right after the jump don’t have the same hysteria screaming through!) (photos via)

it doesnt seem unprofessional to me…definetely a very 80ies way to advertise…
when designers are asked how to take fashion seriously all of them come with the same answer:
“fashion moves plus than 100 billion dollars/year around the globe…” so, shop, shooop, shooooopp!!!!:-)
