We’ve been asking how Rodarte’s collection for Target Go International is going to look like! Well, no more questions, here’s the lookbook of the very Target creations by the Mulleavy sisters!
Skeletons and sequins, tulle and animal print, cardigans and bright colors, the collection has it all (minus the Rodarte feeling, but maybe that’s just me). How do you like it? Do you see the Rodarte style between the seams? (if you need more to conclude, just click through to discover more images from the Rodarte for Target collection, fall winter 2009/2010!) (via)

It is rather quirky and I like some of it. It would be fun to play around with some of the pieces with my own wardrobe, but alas we do not have a Target here in Canada.
I do like some pieces like the mustard cardigan, the belt skeleton dress.
I’m not a super sweet style so this may sweeten up my looks a bit.
Daydreamer, do you talk about the yellow cardigan and call it mustard? I like that one the most as well.
I see these kind of pieces around everywhere in shops. I’m not really like “awww, Rodarte!” Nice, but not really special.
Adriana, Yes. That’s the one.
I do feel like you when I see the collection. It’s like loose the lace tights and it could just normal H&M. But you know, it’s for target’s customers who are not really really fashion forward but they know how to style.
Hi Daydreamer, nice to see you again by the way.
Yes, exactly!
Thank you. It’s been a very busy and stressful semester for me. So holiday is coming as I hope to be part of this lovely community again.
Daydreamer, you’ll always be a part of our highly stylish, fashionable-to-the-teeth but above all warm and friendly little frizz family!
Let us enjoy the Holidays (and for who’s not celebrating – let us just be together while we walk in yet another year together), get some well deserved rest and frizz-full! :*
Yeah, well I guess it was obvious from the way I put it to begin with : there’s not much Rodarte in this collection. But the label. Which sells, most of the time. It is with sadness that I conclude: thift-looks are the new it-looks. And not that there would be something wrong with wearing vintage. No. I just wish I had a fresh feeling when looking at today’s fashion. Instead I just get a cough from all that second hand dust! :(
