Who Is Salt? Angelina Jolie!

Salt. Who is Salt? Angelina Jolie is Salt. Yeah, but what about Salt. Who is Salt? Angelina Jolie. Yeah, but who is Salt? Angelina Jolie is Salt. Ohhh, forget it!

(the very self explanatory movie poster for Angelina Jolie’s Salt movie is out. Let us not forget that Salt was originally intended for Tom Cruise and not Angelina. That being said, who is Salt?) (photo via)

It will be interesting to see how this role has been revamped for a woman.
From what I understand Salt is accused of being a double agent hence the query “Who is Salt?”

Ellington you’ve not seen the trailer yet? Angelina as the violent vamp she always plays.

(that’s how she plays it right! Give a seriously dramatic, purely theatrical part to Angelina and she’ll just ruin it to pieces! She’s good at doing the mental girl, we all know that. She doesn’t know it anymore, hiding behind Brad’s shadow!)

Yeah, I know, I watched the spoiler too (against my anti-spoilers/teasers belief). Still, who is Salt? :P

*sighs*………

I’m sick of my own negative comments on Angelina whom I once liked a lot. It’s not because she’s a “home wrecker”. Ridiculous, it needs two to tango right? I’m tired of her ever attention seeking and announcements about doing good etc. etc. She’s by far not the only one and most of those people act in silence. *sighs*

Who’s Salt?

As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) swore an oath to duty, honor and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt’s efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: “Who is Salt?”

Source IMDb hasn’t the answer either. Release date in my country is September 2010…..by that time she’s starring probably in another film or has adopted some more children….

*sighs*………

lol! yeah, but who is Salt? (why do I feel like Kramer? :)) )

Thanks! I just love asking! It’s like whatisthematrix dot com. Remember? That was the movie’s website back in the days (haven’t checked it out see if it’s still active, but I suspect it’s there). Isn’t it fun? To just ask? It’s redundant and rhetorical. A modern theatre de l’absurd. (hear that! I’m bringing the big gun. ahem fun!)

Don’t feel tired about all that negative vibe towards Angelina. She doesn’t care! She just goes on adopting anyways! Or whatever else. We’re just spectators. And we enjoyed Angie. beautiful, wild, unwise, untamed Angie. Now it’s Madame Angelina. House mother and a regular Tomb Raider shadow.

House mother? Nah, Tomb Raider shadow? Yes.

I think it’s wonderful when an incredibly rich woman can use her wealth to give children a new life. I think Angelina has the greatest of intentions in giving her love, resources and motherly energies to children not her own. If I had huge stacks of money I don’t know that I would have the generosity to do the same!

Actually Kpriss Angelina is a good dramatic actor. She got great reviews for her film the Changeling and for A Mighty Heart. So she can do more than just “action girl/mental girl” type roles.
One may not like her, or her life style but she is talented and receives kudos for her work from her peers and I agree with cc that she is very generous to adopt children who would most likely be left behind and forgotten. Not many would or could do that, and for that I do admire her.

You know I’m a fan ;) (or was, to be more accurate). But sometimes, there are things about the new Angelina (I can’t call her Angie anymore, it’s like that “Angie” thing belongs in another Jolie-era) that just don’t fall in place in my puzzle. Of course she’s gifted and she’s good at what she does (when she’s acting, that is). And of course she’s doing a world of good with her charity work. And of course she’s amazingly beautiful and modest and dramatically talented when she’s involved in something she believes in. And still… she seems to be faking it so much sometimes…
