Fall 2009 AdRumors – Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, YSL

Things are not looking brighter on Wall Street, smart marketing strategies must be adopted in order to cheat in the money for the luxury goods market.

Jennifer Connelly returns in Balenciaga’s posters and Madonna in Louis Vuitton’s. Fall/Winter 2009/2010 ad campaigns road looks so much like the magazines covers we’ve been fighting against for so long: non-models modelling.

Luckily there’s Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima for Givenchy Fall 2009 (she must have stirred some spirits with that Givenchy catwalk to have been retained as their face for the Fall 2009 ad campaign)!

As for the supersdom: back from the glory days, we’ll have Christy Turlington chez Yves Saint Laurent! (wwd, fashionologie, photo via)

Ah Jennifer Connelly, as the last person on earth I’ve seen A Beautiful Mind. What a beautiful but also nice looking woman. I don’t like Balenciaga on her.
It’s good news that a more curvier model as Adriana Lima is on. “Older” models as Christy are back.
Is the fashion marketing awake at last? There’s a huge group of women who have grown up with these models and do relate to them more than to a lot of skinny teens and celebrities.

More good news is and perhaps you’ve read it yet: Jerry Hall has signed again with Ford Models! Come on “old” girls show them what you still ot and feast our eyes!
