Time really flies! I remember practically growing up with Calvin Klein One and Be, I remember Kate Moss’ freckled mouse face and that perfectly simple ad print campaign that has been, iconically, Kate Moss grand debut. CK One Kate Moss!
In 2009, the Calvin Klein CK One and CK Be get a new packaging, collector’s bottles with speakers! Each perfume comes with a bottle engraved with the new CK message “We are one” in multiple languages and a removable MP3-player speaker in the base. Not much has changed from the first CK one bottle but since the Unisex perfume was the discovery of the original CK one generation, the MP3 players and speakers belong to the new generation. Calvin Klein is simply upgrading to the new generation, hoping to have the same appeal as back in the Moss days. Does he succeed? (don’t miss the videos right after the picture!) ( via 1, 2)

It was and is a pleasant perfume but the bottle speaker thing is just more fodder for the trash bin.
I’ve never ever used CK perfume. I can’t even remember the smell. At the time I used Givenchy’s Ysatis.
I’ve never seen these commercials before. I’m familiar with the ads in the magazine though. So these vids were fun to watch. Kate was very cute at the time. I liked her a lot back then. Funny to see Angelina’s former lover Jenny Shimizu too.
The new commercial is very retro something like the zero’s hard rock/coca cola commercial mix? Remember that coca cola commercial? I didn’t watch that many tv at the time, too busy with life.
