Jessica Alba joins the ranks of the mi-length haircuts ranks. Not really a sudden and radical change because she was seen sporting those heavy bangs before, but it’s a change nonetheless, so now I’m wondering why everyone’s oriented towards mid-length haircuts.
Given that short hair was the It haircut for 2008, would Jessica Alba announce the mid-length haircut as the new must in hair trends for 2009? Personally, I’m not a fan of in-between haircuts (on in-between anything, for the matter). I think that a haircut reaching the shoulder line and going just 1 inch further it’s not a haircut per se. Is it safe to call this the 2009 haircut? (photos via justjared)

I think we already saw similar cuts last year.Notably Suri Cruise.
Perhaps its not the length that’s making a statement via Jessica Alba but the fringe.
The haircut of 2009 will probably be the style Michelle Obama is going to adopt for the Inaugural and after.
Yes Dolly Bird, I think that whatever Michelle Obama does decide to do with her hair will influence a lot of women and their hairdressers! This is an aside but I love her sense of style and her look.
As for Jessica Alba’s hair cut, it suits her and the in between length is nifty because you can still ponytail it, wear it up or just leave it be if you wish without a lot of bother.
And I agree again Ellington. This becomes boring. I like the that ‘in-between-lenght because of all the possibilities. That’s why I sport it for so long now.

cute her hair and her style
I’m not a fan of mid-length hair–find that it needs to be up to look attractive.
