Could You Use A Living Moss Carpet? Or A Fragrant Swing?

I know, all that talk about eco consciousness and eco attitude wasn’t for nothing but still I can’t decide myself about this living moss carpet!

Made by Nguyen La Chanh, the living moss carpet is perfect for the humid environment of the bathroom. Your own natural little green paradise is made from a decay-free foam (plastazote) with three different types of moss inside: ball, island and forest. (more after the jump)

If you consider taking your very own moss carpet (and even if you don’t, maybe you’ll change your mind when seeing some more of Nguyen’s work), then surely the tasty frame it’ll be a green addition for your kitchen!

The tasty frame is a plastic frame that you can place in multiple positions and there you can grow your very own aromatic garden: basil, mint, coriander, anything your heart desires! (that changes a bit the Puma sneaker-pot, doesn’t it!)

The Kitchen Garden is a pot with aromatic herbs on. Growing vertically it has a less impressive efficacy than the Tasty Frame but sure looks good!

Last but not least, the Fragrant Swing is an interior swing made of wood with two tarpaulins pots thermowelded in one piece (acting as a pot saucer too). The swing gets green with the creepers going up the ropes. You can swing all in smelling the plants of your choice! No electricity, no candle and no spray to odorize this interior!

So what’ll be? The moss carpet, the tasty frame, the kitchen garden or the playful fragrant swing? (or all four of them, by all means!) (coroflot via inhabitat)

I like the idea of all of them! Its a refreshing way to bring a touch of botany into your life.

I love it! I’ve embrace this things in my home. I’ve always herbes in pots in the kitchen. Nothing can best fresh herbs!
Its all a lovely idea especially while living in the centre of the city. I would use some natural moss carpet though on a part of my balcony not in the bathroom. Looks great but I’d find it not practical.
Oh well, I love them all!

I love the moss mat, but wouldn’t little bits of green and mud get stuck on your feet then spread around everywhere? It’s a lovely idea though.

I should also add it’s nice to just occasionally to read about something that isn’t fashion related!!
