Agyness Deyn Loves Studs

Where would Agyness Deyn be while her colleague, Jourdan Dunn, gets the Best Model Award at the British Fashion Awards?

Oh, here she is, waving her magazine for a cab. Aggy, dear, I can totally and completely agree with the British Fashion Awards jury when I see your outfit… Studs are somewhat out of season and even if military style will always pass, you could polish up a bit, it surely won’t hurt! I’m sincerely tired of this scruffy style that makes today’s fashion queens! What do you say? Is this another fashion disaster signed by Agyness Deyn or my scratched eyes from all that studliness don’t see right-fashion no more? (photos via)

I’m speechless…

I like her as a model but this outfit is just, is just…
What Dolly Bird said.

Sorry girls, I really, don’t care what this girl wears. She is not a self-proclaimed fashion-icon. The media makes and breakes them. It’s not that I like this outfit, coz I don’t. But I’m sick off trends, and “so last season” blablabla …….
If she loves to wear it is up to her.

Next year Jourdan will be probably replaced by another model. Fast food, fast fashion….
Today I’m going to wear, again, a complete so last decade bomberjack. Its warm, its comfy and definitely a fashion disaster. But who cares?

Well in accordance to what you have just stated Adriana.
I am not a trend follower myself.
Agyness could wear a Scarlet Ohara hoop skirt if she wanted, and if she made it work I’d be impressed. All I am remarking on, and I think Dolly Bird too, is if it looks good on her or not, and I don’t think she looks good here in this outfit.

Ellington, I wrote: ”It’s not that I like this outfit, coz I don’t.”

I’ve always seen her and wrote that here months ago that Agyness is a one-hit-wonder so to speak……
Oh and I forgot: I think the best model won.

In this particular pic I’d take her for Sharon Stone.

For someone who’s supposedly a style/fashion (self proclaimed, or media proclaimed..) queen, she should make trends.. Instead she just follows the waves and even stays behind.

What I wanted to say about her outfit, mainly, is that I’ve had it with the king of all styles – Scruffy. It’s like no one cares about ironing or wearing clothes that really fit. More the slouchyness factor increases, more that style gets recognition!

If you ask me, I’m just like you – I don’t follow the trends à l’heure, I love my velour tracksuit pants when I pick up the kids from school and a comfy sneaker never hurt no one!

Now if I’m not mistaking, army boots are far from being comfy.. So Aggy must have had other reasons for putting this outfit together like she did.

Lou, you’re right! It’s not her usual cartoonish hairstyle so that makes her rather human. But I used to like Sharon Stone ;) so I couldn’t see her in Agyness! No way!

Aggie’s new hair is bad.. I loved her before, and I still kind of do, but here she just looks bad full stop..

I used to think that Aggy could pull off anything… but now I’m not so sure!

whoever said ‘media made her a fashion icon’ ,well it is true, but it’s not like she doesn’t milk it. and there’s a very fine line between being cool and eccentric, full of personality and just wearing a terrible outfit thinking you can get away with it because you’re a fashion icon.

i never agreed with this label that they gave her and it really annoys me to see her dressing even quirkier than usual because of what people think of her. if you see pictures from when she was 20 and still laura hollins she was as boring as the next person! her ego has completely inflated now

In no way is Agyness a fashion icon. But, something doesn’t have to be in style for it to be worn. Clothes are meant to last more than one season. If she wants to wear a studded jacket, and studs aren’t far out of season anyway, than that’s her choice. No one should fixate themselves on wearing clothes according to trend or season.
