I’m a fan of straps shoes, long straps going up on the leg. But these look nothing but outrageous. Not fancy enough to call them fashionable, not extremist enough to call them fetishist, Celine Dion’s straps sandals successfully sail under the Fashion Disaster flag! Celine is a mega star and not an fashion victim. Her stylist (TA) is sometimes a little bit confused, and in this case it’s obvious she made the wrong choice. No matter how you think about strappy shoes, it’s not her style. When she’s on stage she need just a simple dress or leather suit in a dark color. That’s the Celine we all know and just as the man in black it was a kind of trademark for her. What her stylist is trying to do now is give her an image which not belongs to Celine. She looks in these pics like an drunken Britney S. who just came out of a nightclub. Blond and a white dress etc never go togheter, you have to accentuate your hair color with the clothes you wear.
Blond hair and a white dress never go together? White bridal gowns on blonds never look out of place and the late Princess Diana was a beautiful example of it.She often wore white or ivory and with little or no accessories.Anyway there’s no harm in blonds wearing white.No matter what your hair colour is there’s always room in a woman’s wardrobe for a white dress.

White dresses doesn’t look good on blondes? Indeed Dolly Bird: poor beautiful brides! Diana wore a horrible wedding dress by the way. I cannot help it, must be me being a patriot, blonde Dutch Princesses Máxima in Valentino and Mabel in Viktor&Rolf looked really like fairy-tale princessess!

P.S. I forgot something. I’ve tried this once!! It’s really hard to keep this ribbons up and on the right place! They sag almost right away. Unless they are glued to the legs which I didn’t found an option….I tried that with plasters on the inside but that wasn’t either a good idea and not comfortable of course.
So, I’m very curious why this ain’t happened with these ones???
I don’t speak about wedding dressess, I speak about the dress Celine wore. most of the blonds arent even a natural blond, they colored their hair Capire? You as a real red haired person Adriana should know this. And please forget this socalled princess of Wales Diana, I’m becoming a little sick and tired of her. I don’t like kings or queens. It’s an old fashion institute which some countries belive in, if you have a queen or king everything will go smooth or better? Do you really belive that? Actually they have nothing to tell not even in the Netherlands. I’m a republican, and our president Mr. Napolitano is doing great it’s actually a job of honor but I asked myself very often what can a king, queen or princess etc do more then an president of a state. I will tell you nothing, it’s only ceremonial further they have nothing to tell. But back to the dress of Celine, I stick to my point that she better wear darker clothes then the one she wears on this pics.
I think when you have legs like Dion, you can wear whatever you want. Besides, it’s her voice that makes her, not what some stylist puts on her. I think it was a bold and unique choice, and good for her for pulling it off. Jealousy will get you no where.

First, Celine looked amazing in this outfit. Performing is about taking it to the next level, and I thought that the outfit was pretty, even though I wouldn’t wear it. I think performers’ outfits are just part of the show and I like it that she had beautiful clothes to wear. And the straps stayed up b/c they zipped up the back of her legs. The woman is talented and looked amazing in all of her outfits, back off people! Try some positivity as your New Year’s resolution.

Don’t tell me that you don’t hate these shoes because she wears it! These are very classy and I can tell that when you have long legs like that, it surely looks good! They’re very original, not exacly like shoes and not exacly like boots. With this short dress, it gives something sexy to this look. If you love her, you say that she has never ever make any fashion mistake, but if you hate her these shoes are the worst ever! People commenting here are always exagerating. Celine does make some fashion mistakes sometimes, and maybe more often than other singers, and THESE shoes are not ridiculous or laughable.
