What marketing magic wand can cross your path and transform your apartment into a Chanel oasis?
Even if the official launch is scheduled for October 10th, the latest Chanel perfume “No. 5 Eau première” had its VIP launch in a more sophisticated an unusual way in a 250 m2 Parisian private apartment. Everything was transformed into a Chanel set by the French interior designer Jean-Marc Gady (who has already worked with Lous Vuitton, Moet and Apple). There were test sprays, photos of Chanel spokefaces (from Mlle Chanel, Marilyn Monroe up until present times to Nicole Kidman). At all times, a fountain sprayed drops of the new fragrance into the air. Honestly, if someone could make my house look like this gorgeous mansion, I’d put it on the marketing market right now! I love the Chanel mystique and yes if I could have my home designed like Coco’s… yes I would!
Sorry, how more weird can it get than this waste of time and space just for a launch of a new perfume? Good grief…..
Ellington, if you talk about Coco’s own home, as I’ve seen it in documentaries and books, thats another story. Coco had beautiful things and it looked like a real home. This doesn’t.
Yes Adriana, Coco’s apartment is the one I would LOVE to have recreated! :)
(I think everything touched by the Kaiser’s hand is far from being a home or having a nest-feeling to it). And if it can bring cash for the house, there’s never enough time spent!
Oh, such an interesting subject – interior design! Maybe I’ll find enough sources to build up subjects like this (Coco’s apartment, or simply fashion-related-apartments!). If you have any ideas, send’em over! I’ll put them to work!
