If Karl can have an exclusively designed iPod trunk case from Louis Vuitton, I don’t think it’s unnatural for Hermès to exclusively design a guitar case for Eric Clapton!
I’m actually a fan of Mr Slowhand’s music and I think this luxurious case for his guitar it really isn’t over-the-common-sense-top. What I don’t really understand is why he went for crocodile and not for normal, average leather. But that’s just me. I appreciate the healthy, simple things in life! Hermes designed this exclusive case for Eric Clapton’s Martin 00028EC acoustic, a guitar that’s also specially made for the performer. The interior of this $100,000 Hermès leather guitar case is made of blue velvet (and yes, for some reason, it’s for sale! I wonder if that’s a sign of switching over to Louis Vuitton… Could it be so?) (via)

I too question the choice of crocodile. Other than that its a bib Yawn to me. Nothing perso Kpriss.
It will become a memento of his musical life and when he does trip this mortal veil it will become a museum piece of sorts or something auctioned off at Christies. As for the choice of material, its Hermes is it not, I think they were going for all out decadence?
