My favorite dress from the Met Costume Institute Gala was the purple Marchesa worn by Eva Longoria. Maybe I’m just old-fashioned, maybe I just like dresses looking like shredded paper, but this dress really catches my eye.
The other Marchesa Girl is Dita Von Teese, snow-white-skin, comme d’habitude. Not really a fan of her outfit, but Dita has her own style, regardless of trends and fashion.

sorry, my previous comment is incorrect. I was under the impression we were speaking of her golden globes dress. Oops! This marchesa truly is gorgeous!
It’s on marchesa.com. In the fall 2008 collection. It’s in black, as it was on the runway. Eva’s is custom-made.
