Though it may look so, I promise, it’s not intentional! Those really were the Golden Globes 2011 dresses! soft pinks all the way!

Megan Fox is wearing a soft pink Armani Prive dress and she’s looking her usual pouty lovely self. Sparkly, dramatic back cuts, you already know the main fashion coordinates used tonight on the Red Carpet! I remember some critics (and even you, my darlings) having compared her with Angelina (you called her “poor man’s Angelina” – spot on). Oh, Halle, what have you done? We love you and we really know you’re an outstandingly beautiful woman, but this? I mean… it looks like you forgot your dress at home or something!

I know she has a past of risque fashion choices, but Halle Berry‘s stubbornness at showing us she’s got a great body is deceiving. Charming Olivia Wilde looks like she raided past seasons wardrobes when she put together her Golden Globes 2011 look. She was wearing a lovely ball gown from Marchesa, dark brown with sequins all over and she paired it with spiked golden Christian Louboutins.

I miss Christina Aguilera‘s back to basics wardrobe and looks! I think that style suited her wonderfully and that she should’ve stuck with it, in spite of her numerous transformations.

She kept a bit of the old glamour, but she added many unpleasant accents. I wonder if that has to do with her recent split from her husband, if she’s trying to reinvent herself to show us that she still got it. Anyway, wearing a Zuhair Murad lace dress on the 2011 Golden Globes Red Carpet wasn’t all surprising – not in terms of creativity or in terms of silhouette. After all the safe choices and the pink and green dress happenings for the Golden Globes 2011 Red Carpet, I’m happy to find Heidi Klum wearing a colorful Marc Jacobs dress (from that great collection I loved so much – Marc Jacobs Spring Summer 2011)!

On the pink, peachy side of things, sure, but fresh and colorful nevertheless! Accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, her outfit was fresh and joyful. Heidi Klum attended the festivities tonight with her husband, Seal who keeps sporting that gray matte manicure. Is that a trend to pick up on? Any men out there ready to answer? I’d just like to make a special mention for the wonderful Katey Sagal – she won at this 2011 edition of the Golden Globes! Yes she did! She won a Golden Globe for her outstanding performance as a Television Series actress (Drama). What for? Sons of Anarchy! If you’re not familiar, please do try and get close to the great series!

I’m happy she was rewarded, Katey is definitely one gifted actress, I’m sure you all remember her TV roles, pretty iconic. And good for her for having risked getting into every bad dressed list with that orange gown! In a sea of Red Carpet safe choices, she’s like saying : hey, I don’t care, I’m in a good place and it shows! I know I’ve been less than friendly with Nicole Kidman over the years. However, things might just take a sudden turn for the better starting right now!

And that’s not necessarily because of her soft beige sequined Prada dress (by far one of the safest, dullest choices for the Golden Globes 2011 Red Carpet). No. It’s because she looks so lovely and happy with her husband (Keith Urban). Despite of her Botox frozen face (yeah, it’s still there, darling, no need to go all “I’ve tried it but didn’t like it” on us), her happy smiles shine through, and that, my friends, is priceless! I doubt I ever covered Catherine Zeta Jones at an awards show before! But this time she’s right on (style) spot with her green dress! She’s wearing Monique Lhuillier and she’s joining the green is the new it wave.

Gorgeously matching her style and complexion, the ample dress works marvelously for Catherine who was accompanied by her husband, Michael Douglas (who has been greatly recovering after his throat tumor treatment – congrats to Michael and to his family for having overcome this tremendous battle!).
