Wear It Any Dark Day: T By Alexander Wang Fall 2012 Collection
February 24th, 2012 by kpriss
T by Alexander Wang is a personal favorite of mine, so this wouldn’t be a good casual Friday start if it wasn’t for the T talk! For everyday wear, Alexander Wang has thought we’d appreciate skinny leather pants (we’re talking every fashion day wear, yes?). Hooded sweaters and generally dark clothes will most certainly tune you into the Fall Winter 2012 2013 season! Feeling brighter already? (the entire collection here)
Victoria Beckham Loves David’s Giant Poster. Duh!
February 24th, 2012 by kpriss
Remember we talked about the giant poster of David Beckham’s H & M bodywear? It would appear that Victoria Beckham, his lovely and oh – so – fashionable wife loves the life out of that billboard! Or something…
David himself made that public when he posted a picture of Victoria on Facebook showing her appreciation for the giant ad wall. And we couldn’t be more charmed by her and her approach! She sure seems funnier than we’d thought her to be with that always serious pout of hers!
Fashion Circus Meadham Kirchhoff Fall Winter 2012 2013
February 24th, 2012 by kpriss
Wrapping up my hectic London Fashion Week report, Meadham Kirchhoff pins it all nicely together.
Although I’m definitely not complaining, since I love, love, love happy fashion moments, Meadham Kirchhoff’s Fall Winter 2012 2013 collection was more of a circus walk than a catwalk. Brightly colored furs, layers of madly mismatched clothing, face painting, colorful wigs, anything a decent fashion circus would ever dream of! So, just in case you get tired of strict, severe fall fashion, you’ll always have Meadham Kirchhoff to count on! (the entire collection here)
Lais Ribeiro’s Vogue Germany March 2012
February 23rd, 2012 by kpriss
Lais Ribeiro is one of my favorite models right now, so I’m really surprised I missed this! (with all the Fashion Week craze going on…)
So here’s an interesting magazine cover: Lais Ribeiro’s Vogue Germany March 2012 as photographed by Alex Lubomirski. If you’re thinking the big hair stands for a retro pictorial, you’re right on! The inside pictures reveal a perfectly gorgeous Lais revisiting the 60s fashion. It’s a balanced pictorial, retro and modern blended together wonderfully. I don’t know if it’s just my admiration for Lais or truly Alex Lubomirski worked really great “Americano” visuals for Vogue Germany! Check the images after the jump and judge for yourself! Kate Moss Paralyzed. Wait, What?
February 23rd, 2012 by kpriss
Read this piece yesterday and I wasn’t sure it was the truth; I waited (more like crossed fingers and hoped) for a public denial of the unhappy rumor saying that Kate Moss was paralyzed. Until now, however, nobody said different, so it kinda makes it official: Kate Moss wake up a couple of days ago with a paralyzed arm. Her condition was diagnosed with Ulnar Nerve Entrapment and it’s a temporary condition. Quick full recovery, Kate!
Party Skirt: Fringed Leather Mini Skirt From Zara
February 23rd, 2012 by kpriss
Zara’s March 2012 lookbook brought a real eye candy right before my fashion hungry eyes. Because a very special day approaches and I’m (all excited and happy) getting ready for it (my Adored Husband’s birthday is coming up this very week end), a good outfit is a date night outfit. For now.
Kasia Struss is all lovely (mind the wet like hair), perfectly showcasing Zara’s new addition to this year’s collection: a black fringed leather mini skirt! It’s amazing for dancing! (and just in case, I’ll keep in reserve the shorts you’ll see after the jump!) What do you say? Should I? Doesn’t it look simply amazing? (via)
Mad Print: Mary Katrantzou Fall Winter 2012 2013 Collection
February 22nd, 2012 by kpriss
Mary Katrantzou’s Fall Winter 2012 2013 collection was really difficult to pin among the trends we’ve seen so far taking Fashion Week by storm. There was no fur. No leather. But there was plenty of print material to make up for that!
Mary Katrantzou’s genius was all in the hard worked details, the hidden meanings of the many prints, the intricate sartorial pride that’s pushing her further and further in fashionista’s hearts. (she even worked a special collaboration with Topshop and some pieces of the collection are still available here). Undoubtedly one of the most interesting designers to watch, wouldn’t you say? Comfy Fall: Roksanda Ilincic Fall Winter 2012 2013 Collection
February 22nd, 2012 by kpriss
Roksanda Ilincic merged fur and casual wear for fall winter 2012 2013. The resulted collection was pretty interesting although I couldn’t imagine wearing fur and tracksuits or tracksuits and high heels. However, fashion is very permissive (apparently) and Roksanda Ilincic’s fall collection may as well be considered stylish and tasteful. Not. (the entire collection here)
