Balenciaga girl all the way, Jennifer Connelly goes for Givenchy (Spring Summer 2009) in Japan for the premiere of her last movie – The Day The Earth Stood Still.
But don’t imagine it was a safe choice too! The strange cuts and armor-like top of her black Givenchy dress left me wondering if she wasn’t better in Balenciaga, after all.. At least I was used to that. But this… is just too much for me! I haven’t searched for that movie, see if it’s not a sequel to Battlestar Galactica par hasard… At least I would have made a connection. Do tell me, you find Jennifer looking good in this dress? This look is supposedly bondage inspired, right down to the hair and black polish on her toes. I love it. And the white on her shoes is the design of the shoe, not a tag.

It looks like a glamourised straight jacket to me.
I feel Jennifer should have let her hair down with this dress.It would have softened the severity of the dress.
