As proposed by Elle Netherlands in their October 2012 issue. Because, after all, winter’s coming. And we need to keep those feet warm and comfy. Ready to hit the stiletto way any day! What? you’re not wearing Uggs Australia Boots? You should. Everybody’s wearing them – even Kate Moss. But most of all, stylish celebs while filming their movies. In the studios or on location. (yeah, I know, you think they’re wearing high fashion shoes all the time, but in fact, when the camera is not filming their feet, they’re all wearing comfy Ugg boots! Call me Mythbuster – wink)

Back to the Ugg boots. Three ways, I said. Rock’n Roll, Hipster and Pajama Trendy. That’s how I called them, The original Dutch Elle had other names for them – take a closer inspection after the jump.

3 ways to wear UGG Boots and be fashionable

As you’ll notice, each and every look was carefully put together by a professional stylist. Antoine Degas assembled the Wild look with that great Barbour jacket. The Cosy look was styled by Esther Coppoolse (loving the pajama pants from Calvin Klein!) while the Dressed Up version is signed by Thomas Vermeer who used hipster brands like Diesel, 7 for All Mankind and Antik Batik. What would you use to dress your UGGS up or down?

I have no clue how to translate the pajama photo? It’s fun slang Dutch for home-wear. I am also wearing my “huiskloffie” with UGGs yet. And some more layers since it’s cold and I have started to cut back on energy costs. I can bare it. I still want to buy some nice things like this Elle (minus the sticker ;) )or see the hairstylist and a second pair of warm UGGs to spice up my “huiskloffie”…..:)
