Scott Schuman Vs. Bill Cunningham. The Street Fashion Photography War

Is this the next scandal on the Streets of Fashion? Scott Schuman, my dahlings, has made a very interesting series of remarks about Bill Cunningham. Because, you see, from The Sartorialist’s Crystal Tower there’s nothing else to see or worthy of any appreciation except himself.

Scott Schuman starts war against Bill Cunningham Who cares that Bill Cunningham is doing this for over 40 years?

And who cares that anyone and everyone in the industry only has amazing words of praise at his address?

Scott Schuman doesn’t and that’s that! I’m still perplexed by all that he said, so I’ll just quote his infinite wisdom below, as retained from Fashionista

(take your time, it’s really not easy to digest!)

You know, I hate to say it, I’m sure everyone thinks he’s a lovable guy, and I’m sure he is. We’ve never had a conversation. The only conversation we’ve ever had is when I’m trying to shoot someone and he says, ‘Hey, get out.’

His photographs, I think they’re nice, they’re just a totally different style from me. I don’t think they’re bad, really just a different style. He’s really reportage, shoot, snap, he’s just going, going, going. […] the whole myth about [Cunningham]…frustrating.

Scott Schuman has an innate ability to put his foot in his mouth… and now he did with both of them.
Out of topic, I am dying to get that Lanvin scarf he is wearing.

I cannot abide this man. He is short in stature and in heart and mind.
