My dahlings! Although we’re clearly in the ‘Twilight’ zone for some time now as Breaking Dawn Part Two keeps topping the box office sales week after week, I’d like you to take the time to consider ‘Argo’.
Yes, I’m talking about Ben Affleck’s Argo! It was by far one of the best movies this year and I hope they’ll keep it in mind (and more) in the upcoming awards season! One of the things that’ll strike you about Argo is the music. The trailer alone (we don’t watch the trailers before watching the actual movies) has a very powerful music to sustain a very strong play: actors and supporting cast, everyone’s done an amazing job with Argo!
If you’ve seen it already and feel like sharing thoughts and impressions, please do! Be warned, though, there’s more ‘Argo’ talk on the way (wink)! Talking about the trailer: Aerosmith Dream On is the music you’ll hear accompanying some of the key elements in Argo’s plot. (side question: why do they stubbornly choose the plot’s key moments for the trailer? Where’s the suspense in watching the actual movie, then?)

Needless to say I used to love Aerosmith? This is one of my fave Aerosmith songs.
I like Ben Affleck. I always have. I forgive him some of his mega stupid mistakes. ;)
Never mind the trailer; I love to see Argo anyway.
As for that trailer? It’s such a typical sign of our times.
