Didn’t you miss a good dose of photoshop-less ad campaign pictures? Madonna photoshop-less pictures are my favorites, by far! She’s such an iconic piece of media work, I’m always enjoying a bit of demystification of her media persona.
Remember her advertorial work for Dolce and Gabbana? Well, there she goes, in all her natural splendor, looking like one of us! Isn’t it reassuring? (I love a bit of backstage gossip, don’t you? Especially with all that Dolce & Gabbana talk earlier – it reminded me of this photoshop – op that was too good to miss out on!) (photos via)

I think she looks amazing!! And im sure anyone who is over 35 would be extremely happy to look as good as those pics!
Ugh, look what excessive weight lifting does to one hands and arms! Her arms looks like the arms of an 70+ old builder.
some like it rough ;)
I’ve nothing against the arms of a 70+ old builder by the way! ;) :)
I doubted you had!
it’s tough to find balance in the spotlight. Her Madgesty must have built those impressive muscle masses while counting her fortunes, all alone and feeling blue… There’s always a price to pay. I’d rather count butter ounces while preparing some cake or cookies for my family, wearing my old jog pants which never served their named purpose ;) and never will!
The weightlifting is the number one reason why her body looks so much better than the vast majority of women her age.
That sounds harsh I know but – those veins are not nec. the result of too much weightlifting – most 5o+ women have veiny hands and arms – it’s just natural ageing.
Eliza, not to start an argument but her arms are not the cause of “natural ageing” and it’s not true that most 50+ have veiny hands and arms. This is the price Madonna pays for her “eternal youth” and her “perfect body”. These veins are also common in the 50+ (maybe even 40+ yet) body-builder and weight lift scene.
Of course until the “brave new world inventors” find something to avoid or get rid of this too…..
