Taylor Momsen by Guy Aroch for Nylon Magazine May 2009 has that Nylon detail that’ll make you forget we’re talking about a 15-years old girl. Taylor was put on the fashion pedestal and dolled up by every-fashion-one, but she’s still so young! What will become of her in her 20s? 30s?

The world was in Debbie Harry-starvation and when Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen came along, she was the oasis they were all waiting for. A younger Blondie Debbie, just as blond, just as fashionable. But highly questionable. (the story continues after the jump with more pictures!)

In a word no. If there was no show there would be no ‘style icon’ Taylor Momsen. Yes it makes me wonder what is going to happen to the stars of this show when its over and they hit their 20’s plus? I wonder what she would wear if there were no stylists picking out her clothing?
I have never watched a full episode “Gossip Girl” and I never will,(I could only take 5 minutes of it before I turned it off) its too shallow and insipid for my tastes and the books based on the show are dire. It seems to have a strong fan base.

Debbie Harry? She wishes! The only resemblance is that she has blonde hair and not at all the way Debbie pulled it off.
Debbie Harry still impress and inspires people. I don’t think this styled star can ever.
I think that “style icon” is used the last years too fast, too soon. Let’s see in 20 years?

Is SJP or Carrie still the style icon she was like some years ago? Would she have ever become one without SATC? I don’t think so. So no to this one. At least for now.

UM SHE’S ONLY 15! that second picture is completely innapropriate for a teenager. and she has no talent whatsover either and is quite average looking even after she’s photoshopped. I don’t see this girl going anywhere in her career.
