I doubt there’s no liaison between the tough economic times and the sure value of Sarah Jessica Parker’s on the fashion/media market. The Harper’s Bazaar March 2009 photos take Diana Vreeland as model, shaping Sarah Jessica to measure the most famed fashion editor. Diana Vreeland’s 26 years “Why Don’t You…” Bazaar reign was really revolutionary for the fashion and style industry. She was the first fashion editor per se (who discovered Edie Sedwick, among other things). In comparison, That makes Anna Wintour a little girl playing in the sandbox.

Not necessarily because her competence wouldn’t be at height but because Diana Vreeland was in every way revolutionary, a style pioneer.

Diana Vreeland was the pattern used as inspiration by Meryl Streep for her famous part in The Devil Wears Prada. Sarah Jessica Parker’s impersonation of Diana is very becoming since they both share physical similarities but in terms of character, I think Sarah’s acting ways are too obvious.

She’s a good actor, she plays that photo shoot well, and yet so unconvincing to my eyes. (The subscribers cover, however, is stunning. Entirely SJP’s style!)
