I came across something very interesting the other day while I was searching the internet for something stylefrizz-worthy. (in fact, to be honest, it came via messenger from my husband! so if you’ll like this like I did, it’s his doing!)
It’s called the Virtual Dressing Room. At first I thought it was the very common e-dressing room. But no! No, no, no! It’s an actual Virtual Dressing… panel more than a room! What does it mean? It means you have a screen in front of you reacting in a wii manner. You stand up in front of the panel and you reach function to your needs for t-shirts, pants, hats. You can change within a category from left or right and have different colors or models. (anyway, I think the panel’s options are subject to software programming, hence permanently improvable). I have found this demonstrative clip only. Take a look and tell me if it could work. I for one consider it brilliant and helpful. It surely cuts out the addictive unique pleasure of touching the clothes and actually trying them on, but saves so much time, I’m willing to forgive that!

Its so nifty and clever! I could see it being a lure to make shopping for more palatable for men and for some women, but it only tells you how something looks on you not how it actually feels on and how good of a fit it is. Also you will eventually have to try it on.
Also one should never be in a hurry to shop, it should be a fun and leisurely activity.
You’re right Ellington, but it eventually helps you virtually try on all the shop and then narrow it down to few choices you could actually try them on to see how they feel. In fact, there was a solid speculation about this kind of panel that it would be very helpful for online shopping. And that I think it could be very much the case.
