We just talked about Christy Turlington as you know she’s an all time favorite model of mine. And I remember I saw some really beautiful pictures of Liya Kebede somewhere. Today I searched for them because, much like Christy, Liya is also one of the models I love and admire the most.
This pictorial was masterfully executed by Ben Hassett and included in Numero France’s November 2012 issue. You may already label it ‘so yesterday’. But when it comes to Liya, in my mind, nothing’s yesterday.

Diyana, she’s born January 3, 1978 according to Wiki. So she’s 34 soon 35. She proves women that age look wonderful and interesting. She’s a personality because she has life experience. Something most models lack.

Never mind. There’s IMDb. Of course Desert Flower!! Never saw the film but own the book since the ’90’s. Loved Waris as a model. I couldn’t get through The Good Shepard though…..
