There’s no rest for the stylish ones! Here’s Kate Lanphear (style editor, US Elle Magazine) wearing what we already know to be the high fashion: shreds and pieces, especially metallic pieces!
But I have to say that Kate’s choice is by far the opposite pose of what we saw earlier on Miley Cyrus. This is one fierce fashionista who does not scary me nor she makes me think there’s no hope for tomorrow’s fashion but to fall prey to various fetishes instead of evolving in creative inspiration. I LOVE it because it reminds me of us in the 80’s and we wore this style to shock people because we were anti yups and it was so rock and roll. Though our very serious philosophy was to wake people up. Ach ja….

She looks like Andy Warhols’ separated at birth twin.
I have never dressed to shock others I dress to please myself. I do like the look of it though in a deconstruction/brutalist fashion.
