Back to blonde, back on magazine covers! Oh, it must be a coincidence! Scarlett Johansson is the new covergirl for Harper’s Bazaar January 2010, the UK edition.
Intensively retro-glam, the British Harper’s Bazaar pictorial with pouty Scarlett is a success. If you like Scarlett. And the things she says. Sometimes, some respectable celebs should do what they do best. Acting, singing, doing what they know people love watching/listening them doing. (the story continues right after the jump with more images, click here to see the gallery)
The idea was to concentrate on (RED) products, hence the Bono – talk taglined on the cover. However, the pictorial strikes a wrong chord in me. The credits say: “The January Issue features Scarlett dressed in (Product) RED clothes and accessories […]. Also in leopard print and studded leather by Dolce & Gabbana, Yves Saint Laurent, and Oscar de la Renta.” Ummm… so if you wear (RED) it’s alright to wear D & G and YSL and so on? Or the other way around? (photos via)

I like Scarlett, she is okay by me, and I like the fact that she tries new things. : )
Also her husband Ryan is FINE! ;)
I have enough of Scarlett and her same poses. Next time a real model or another celebrity.
Whatever….what new thing is she trying here Ellington?
I like the fact that she tries new things for herself, like singing. I like that she does not seem afraid to fail at it. I like that she is not in the tabloids and keeps her marriage to Ryan private. I like that she does not seem to take herself too seriously.
I myself do not see her around as much as say Megan Fox, or any of the Gossip Girls, and Lady Gaga, but to each their own Adriana. Like I said I don’t mind her.: )
I don’t mind you like her Ellington. :)
The first time in a long time I’ve seen animal print look half decent
I’m very interested to know who made the shoes she is wearing in the third picture from the top. The dip heel pumps? Does anyone know what they’re actually called? THANKS
Hi Abigail! They’re the Imperial Pumps from Yves Saint Laurent. They made quite the fashion statement when they came out with the FW 2009 YSL collection. Momentarily you’ll only find them in vintage stores/ebay, hardly never worn, but still mint condition ^_^ (they go around for appx $500). Fierce design, wouldn’t you say? back from the days when YSL still created icons (I personally think the Tribute sandals were some of the most beautiful sandals I’ve ever seen)
