What Courtney Wore Today Not Written By Courtney Love

Though everyone (and their dog) have blog/facebook account/twitter account/myspace account and so forth nowadays, and every celebrity out there can be found on one of the above mentioned social e-interaction, Courtney Love doesn’t actually blog on her blog.

The over-applauded “whatcourtneyworetodaydotcom” features pictures and information about what Courtney Love wore this and that day. Without being written by Courtney Love herself. (side note – you have to love Gwen’s transition from furry bras to web tees. It’s all in the key of blue, however) (you can check out the Courtney Love non-written blog here)

I’m always inspired when I see pictures of C Love. Her fearlessness is palpable and I wish it were more contagious.

Just looking at this picture of Gwen Stefani – her TankGirlesque look seems so costumey and contrived.

I’m a Courtney fan. Or was? Since her last live performance which was kinda sad and her last album failed to convince me I’m not sure anymore. She’s troubled but also an exceptional and very talented woman. So I cherish the old Hole albums.
I’ve always loved he dress-style.
Fearlessness? Not so sure. More like desperate these days?

Yes, what did Gwen do to herself? I can’t believe my eyes! Dressed up and tanned for the Rio Carnival (whenever that is)?

I’ve no blog, Facebook, MySpace or Twitter account. But I do know someone who created a FB-account for his dog! :D
Plus I claim that I’m Stylefrizz longest friend and most devoted fan!! ;)

This is a way old photo of Gwen and Courtney. Gwen has not sported this look in an age and that was way back when she still was with No Doubt and had not done anything solo as yet.
As for Courtney I have never been a fan nor do I dislike her, I am nonplussed about her music.
She has done some good acting performances in films. But the only thing I hope for her is that she can rebuild a loving relationship with herself and with her daughter.

It’s an old photo Ellington? Ah, now get it! I was convinced that the girl in the middle is Melissa Auf Der Maur (former Hole bass player). These ladies are not on speaking terms anymore. And they all look younger here. Melissa plays a lot with Karen Elson these days by the way.

Yes, Courtney has done some remarkable movie parts. I watched a long brutal honest interview with her on YouTube. I really hope she find peace with herself and her daughter one day. I’ve my doubts that will be soon. I saw very disturbing drawings made by Frances Bean.

yep, it’s an old photo, I picked this particular one (featured on the above-mentioned blog) because I thought it was interesting to see, given Gwen’s latest style exploits.

(you’re right, Adriana, and we’re so lucky to have “met” you! gazillion hugs flying your way!)

Oh, those Frances Bean drawings! Indeed disturbing – saw them too! I wonder what normality is in a house where the dad took his own life and the mom is half the time drunk, the other half lost in illegal substances. And a scandal-magnet full-time.

I know it’s an old picture – Gwen still looks coustumey. Whatever Courtney wore or wears – it looks natural on her. Courtney ‘wears’ her style, it never wears her.

whoops ‘costumey’

If anyone is interested: seek for Courtney Love’s “Letter to God” live performance in the Roxy in 2007. It’s a great performance but almost painful to watch. It shows Courtney in all her vulnerability.
I wish her and Francis Bean all the best especially after I saw Francis Bean’s drawings…….

Kpriss, hugs to you too beautiful! :)
