I can’t believe my eyes! Literally! Fashion’s golden model, Kate Moss (who is, coincidentally also on Vogue UK’s cover this month) has been recently photographed out and about wearing an interesting pair of black boots.

The boots in question look oddly similar to a pair of UGG boots. You know, the kind of boots banned by all style standards from fashionista’s wardrobes! Kate Moss approved the UGGs! Yaaay!

As I’m counting down the hours until the Red Carpet magic event that is The Metropolitan Museum’s 2012 Gala, I can only daydream about the gorgeous gowns we’ll see parading up the stairs of the prestigious Museum!

Here’s a little hint from Anna Wintour herself who allegedly wants all her Vogue editors to wear pink for the night.

Talking about the London Olympics: have you heard that the iconic rubber boots label, Hunter, has issued a very special collection entitled “Union Jack”? At least for me, that really doubles the fun of wearing wellies since they come with this special print on. Although under a cliché – cover, Vogue Australia June 2012 brings us valuable information regarding the much buzzed – about separation between Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp. My daahlings, right from Vanessa’s lips into our ears: the 15 – years long relationship between Vanessa and Johnny is still going strong.

It would appear that the nasty rumors about a split started when Vanessa Paradis showed up alone at the premiere of her newest movie (Café de Flore). The Vogue interview, however, clearly mentions there are no clouds on the Paradis – Depp household sky. And that makes us happy. Doesn’t it? Talking about stripes! Have you seen the latest CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund winner collection for J. Crew? It’s Joseph Altuzarra giving his personal spin on the navy stripes, the bright colors and the jeans to wear this season. I wish I could say it’s Altuzarra just by looking at a blue denim pencil skirt, but I can’t.

All I can say is that the collection looks pretty comfy and casual, ready to wear anywhere, at any time. Just don’t forget to show your stripes this season! It’s actually not hard to imagine the designer as Darth Vader – after the benches collapsed at one of his shows, he asked the eminent fashion audience to assist his runway defile while standing up. Anna Wintour was among those who stood up for Balenciaga. But the Force is strong with Ghesquiere, he’s back, stronger than ever!
