I’m not pretending to be a hipster by jumping up and down at the sight of Karlie Kloss doing the almost exact kind of cover as Joan.

Which, you already know, I thought it was brilliant – Joan Smalls on the cover of W Magazine is a bold move for everyone. Now I don’t get the boldness anymore – the creamy tan on Karlie’s face looks so much like Joan’s complexion (which should be natural, biensur – but what’s natural in fashion after all?) Sarah Jessica Parker’s home just turned into a veritable hot point for all kinds of fashion & party related activities as she’s hosting a fundraiser event for Obama.

Although it’s just a rumor for the moment, a short speculation – title threw on sports website’s page as a passing mention in articles about Tom Brady’s professional performance, Gisele Bundchen is allegedly pregnant again (she already has a baby boy, Benjamin, two, with husband Tom Brady).

The word first surfaced on a Brazilian website citing sources from the written press who said that Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady were expecting their second child together and that the supermodel would be about two months along. I’m puzzled – aside from being two lovely women, what have these two in common as to end up covering Zoo Magazine’s Summer 2012 issue? Monica Bellucci looking thinner and younger than I would expect and Lana del Rey trying to convince us all that it’s all just a Video Game, in the end. All in being completely retro dark, biensur! A gloomy summer wind sweeps Zoo’s editorial team off of the beaches and into the dark depths of Fashdom!. {tFS}

(In case you just read the title and your eyes went out of your eyeballs, wondering what I’m talking about: ) when I first heard that Tom Cruise was going to play a rock star, I was full of disbelief and disappointment – couldn’t they have come up with a more credible actor? I was 100% percent convinced it’ll be catastrophic.

Until I saw some scenes from the Rock of Ages movie trailer. I was blown away! Sure, it was a teaser, so it had to be spectacular. But Tom Cruise, as a rock star, looked pretty much the real deal. He has that superior attitude and that (sometimes) inexplicable energy to rock. The stage. For a movie (initially a Broadway musical, Rock of Ages, the movie, will soon be released in a cinema theater near you, according to imdb – next month I think?). So W Magazine’s June 2012 cover happened. With Tom Cruise sandwiched between two beautiful models – Edita Vilkeviciute and Abbey Lee Kershaw.

Although a little bird was whispering something about wearing pink tonight (at least her Vogue editors were supposedly commanded to do so), Anna Wintour looks flawless in white Prada dress (paired with white fur cape). I’m actually happy she didn’t turn out on the pink side, this is something more in the key of Wintour, isn’t it? Fabulous, fascinating woman!

Anna brought along her daughter, Bee Shaffer for this glamorous event and she’s looking lovely herself, dressed in an Erdem long blue gown.
