I think the thought of seeing an actual frizzy hairdo on a magazine cover was something I hardly ever imagined possible! However, Vogue UK puts Vanessa Paradis on their July 2011 cover with a very strange looking hairstyle – something that would appear to be home made, frizzy and naturally curly?
If it isn’t, whoever styled Vanessa’s hair really knows how to give a natural look to a specific hairdo! However, they used too much photoshopping for an ageless cover! Two more images have surfaced, as photographed by Mario Testino, but so far it’s more interesting and controversial than beautiful, wouldn’t you agree? (Vogue via)

There’s a Kate Moss pictorial in Vogue Brazil (May 2011) as photographed by Mario Testino. In the said pictorial, Kate Moss is photographed wearing various swimming suits or swim – related postures.
One of the pictures, however, has caught my attention: it’s a bright colored one piece swimming suit Kate is wearing with grace and unbalanced sense of fashion. It’s actually the only picture of the entire pictorial where a man appears alongside Kate. And that man is Rodrigo Santoro. And I have absolutely no idea why he’s there in the picture with her (aside from, the obvious, that he’s Brazilian and that this is, after all, Vogue Brazil).
But that is not even the issue here – the issue here is brought to my attention by Kate’s swimsuit. Is this the new it swimsuit? The spilling out of swimsuit? Because in my head, that a certified no – go! How about in your perspective? (Vogue Brazil via 1, 2)

With the Pirates of the Caribbean just launching at Cannes and worldwide, Penelope Cruz is one of the must have celebrities on the Red Carpet events around the world. Because Penelope is trendy, fun, smart and, of course, beautiful!
Penelope Cruz is Vogue’s US June 2011 cover star. The images, as photographed by Mario Testino are dreamy natural and charming, just like she is. Penelope is one of those artists who know no boundaries and their art cannot be contained in just one country’s border. Thank you, Spain, for having spawned such talented individual! Can’t wait to see how she looks like as a Pirate! (more images right after the jump, check out the Vogue interview here)

I’ve been talking about warm summer beaches so long now I think there’s something that needs to be done to cool off that attitude. Let’s take Kate Moss‘ cover for Vogue Paris May 2011 and chew on it.
It’s photographed by Mert and Marcus and includes five men hands besides Kate Moss. And a strongly Christmas-y look. I’m guessing this won’t help Emmanuelle Alt either? (she’s taking out the big guns, however, rolling out Kate Moss on a cover… Even if it’s not season – inviting, I’ll wait for the pictorial before calling it a fail.) (Vogue via)

Nonsense rambling aside, Alexander McQueen was seriously celebrated by fashion magazines and if Kate Moss’ Harper’s Bazaar wasn’t what you would expect from your regular fashion pictorial, maybe Vogue US Alexander The Great feature would sooth your fashsoul!
From the models they used (Caroline Trentini, Coco Rocha, Karen Elson, Karlie Kloss, Raquel Zimmerman, Stella Tennant) to the museum – friendly settings and the time – stands – still feeling, Alexander is Great as remembered by Sarah Burton, photographed by Steven Meisel and styled by Grace Coddington. Sure, nothing can beat Daphne Guinness’ epic, but this is a great way to remember McQueen and his undoubted sartorial and theatrical genius, which feature you liked most? Harper’s or this one? This truly is a matrimonial year for our beloved models! Starting off with Anja Rubik and news of her engagement and marriage with her boyfriend, Sasha Knezevic, here goes Natasha Poly who, only days ago, got married to her boyfriend, Peter Bakker, in St Tropez. Congrats to the happy couple!
Reportedly a businessman, Mr Peter Bakker, wedded his beloved in a three – day celebration at the Hotel Byblos, St Tropez. The bride was wearing a white, long sleeved Givenchy gown and the over 200 guests were entertained with a private concert by Leona Lewis. Have you seen the bride‘s bouquet? It looked like it was more of a corsage attached to her wrist, wouldn’t you say? (also check out the images after the jump – is she toasting with plain water? could be that Natasha is also pregnant?) Is there something Heidi Klum can’t do? She’s your (a)typicall supermom who just balances everything without even blinking. She has a full house (literally) as she and her also famous husband, Seal, have four kids and two dogs. She’s a working mom (she has two TV shows) and numerous fashion deals. Next she wants to add blogger to her curriculum by launching a website called Planet Heidi.
Yes, we’re all on Planet Heidi in May’s 2011 issue of Good Housekeeping as Heidi is speaking loud and clear about her family and her day and night duties. She looks happy, she is happy and she’ll make you happy just reading her talk about her happiness. She’s good housekeeping, that’s for sure! Also – I don’t mind at all seeing her on the cover of GH and not on the cover of Vogue! Do you? (more images from the issue as photographed by Robert Erdmann after the jump! and you can read her interview here)

There’s something about Reese Witherspoon these days! That’s why she keeps on being featured on various magazines covers in less than a month! Now don’t get all heated over this, it’s nothing simpler than a new movie coming up with Reese and Robert Pattinson (Water for Elephants).
Besides the obviously retro-ish cover, the inside pictorial is a giveaway in the movie’s direction: the circus theme. Reese, however, looks lovely, way prettier than in her Elle UK feature (which you can find, for comparison, right after the jump, as well as few images from the inside Vogue pictorial). Photographer: Peter Lindbergh. (photos via)
