Now getting back to that Red Carpet and the 2010 Emmys: we couldn’t let Heidi Klum get by without noticing how gorgeous this fine lady looks! Alongside her husband, Seal, they were the picture of perfection and happiness on the 2010 edition of the Emmy Awards Red Carpet. (do I say this every time they attend an official Red Carpet event? well, there goes one more, then!)
Though we’re used to seeing flowy, romantic Marchesa dresses on the Red Carpet, a lbd number as worn by Heidi Klum is oh – so – beautiful and surprising. Also faithful to her Lorraine Schwartz jewelry (notice that she’s keeping it toned down to a single piece of jewelry – the necklace), Heidi sparkles even more than the bling she’s wearing. Can you believe she’s a mother of four, really? (photos via)
Do you believe all those saying that the modeling bodies come easy? That all they do is hold on to those good genes and they keep their skinny bod forever? Yeah, well I don’t!
It think once you get pass a certain age and a certain life regime, everything comes tumbling down on you unless you’re really careful. That and serious exercise. Whether you do it around the house or in the gym, exercise will keep you in a great shape. Both physically and mentally. Look at these models playing ping pong! They’re having so much fun! (they’re in the SPiN competition, in NY) (via)
Hey! look there’s Julianne Moore with no clothes on! She’s wearing a couple of lion cubs and some bags and stones instead!
Lovely lady, lovely wild little creatures, expensive bags, overwhelmingly pricey bling (I’m sure). It’s all happening for the Bvlgari Fall Winter 2010/2011 ad campaign. And besides being smoothed and deprived of all her blemishes (even all her freckles), Julianne looks gorgeous (just like she did for the previous season). Would have loved the freckles, though! Wouldn’t you? (via)
Kanye West the great visits the King Tut exhibition in New York. For the occasion, he got his black slim suit on, he’s looking great! More so since he has his best jewelry on!
It hardly matters where do I look at that golden necklace from, it still looks larger than life! And that pyramid knuckle ring on his right hand fingers. King Tut? Kanye’s feelin’ your fashion! Isn’t he golden? (via)
Waking up this morning after a good Sunday break (I hope you all enjoyed one!) I was expecting a sunny Monday on the fashinternet. Something to make me smile and carry on my stylish ramblings and my whatnots thinkings towards you.
Instead, I discovered that what you ignore today, may hit you twice as hard tomorrow! Last week, I found out, like many of you, that Madonna had inked a design deal with MG Icon group (owner of Ed Hardy, amongst others) for a children collection! The name is Material Girl and it will be available in Macy’s stores in time for back to school season, with prices raging from $12 to $40! (don’t miss the rest for the story, right after the jump!)
And because we just can’t get enough of Kate Moss, and surely because we can’t get enough of bags-talk, here’s our darling Kate explaining her Longchamp collection. The whys and the hows. Somewhat…
A clutch is one of those things that will be around for a while. They’re just so classic, really — I’ve got clutches from the ’30s, in that envelope style that’s really simple and not too overdone. This one is part of the collection that I just designed for Longchamp, and you can actually stuff a load of things in it and bash it around. The leather is textured to look like shagreen, which I love. Most bags are too heavy to carry things in, and so many of them are stiff, and you know it’s going to take years to mess them up. I like things that are already worn in, something tactile that’s going to be comfortable on your skin. When I was working on the collection, I showed it to my daughter, but she’s a bit — you know. She just said, “Yeah, it’s all right.” She prefers bling and Hello Kitty. She says she doesn’t like Hello Kitty anymore, but I know she really does. I mean, I love it, too. I just nabbed her Hello Kitty makeup bag, in fact. What can I say? I like a mismatch. (via)
If you haven’t decided what to buy this Christmas, you can consider the following jewelry pieces designed with dedication, inspiration and care by big names and artistic personalities.
More, some of these particular jewelry pieces were invested with a special charity power: Alicia Keys did a necklace for Keep A Child Alive and Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s Asprey Snakes proceeds turn to Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. Remember the Perspective Chair? Pharrell Williams doesn’t feel like joking with his chair perspective right now!
He’s on to something big! The Tank Chair! Available in black, white, blue, pink, the new Tank Chair makes me wish Pharrell would have just taken a designer – rest at his previous Perspective (chair). Or change the chair for a decent sneaker! Would you have something like this Tank chair in your sweet home? (me I won’t as much as blink until he’ll either spike it up or put some Swarovski or some real rocks on the Tank! Check out Pharrell’s Tank gallery here!) (via 1, 2, 3)
