Again? Yes, again! Because sometimes, setting tongues wagging through a single photo is more rewarding than playing a brilliant part in a good movie!
Not wearing any clothes in an advertising campaign may be the answer to getting people to buy more clothes from that particular brand! Calvin Klein’s ad campaign with Eva Mendes seems to be a real success since she took her clothes off a second time for CK commercial purposes! (the story continues right after the jump with more pictures!)
Shot by Steven Klein and also starring Jamie Dornan, the new Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear ad prints will run in a total of 1,080 pages, globally! The good side of the story? She’s not skinny! The bad side? All the rest! Would you buy more jeans/underwear from CK following this new ad campaign? (via)

I like the jeans as far as I can notice the fit. Never have bought anything Calvin Klein in my life.
These ads do not turn me on to buy CK. I forgot totally about that other foursome-ad billboard! Who cares anymore? Back then with “Marky Mark” that was great. I know most fashionistas remember Kate Moss too, she was very cute but so skinny back then. Mark was the epitome of health.
For me I have only Ck ads of Kate and Brook Shield were my favorites. I think the underwear ads is something. It’s almost Armarni Exchange. I prefer the Beckhams in EA.
And I have say the jeans fit Eva perfectly.
Daydreamer, I also prefer the Beckhams. Far more stylisch. Never thought I would type this lol! Right, Brooke Shields! Anyway, actress Eva Mendez has attention and viewing the next movie with her I see this image….great…..
Oh, yes!
I like CK clothes, undies and shoes. Eva looks good but when does she ever not take her clothes off? If she leaves them on for an ad campaign then I’ll be shocked.
I think I said that in the past, but even so, it’s doesn’t hurt saying it again : I so love CK lingerie! and not because it’s tagged and/or CK but because it feels and looks like a second skin more than underwear. But I do buy my clothes/lingerie pushed by other reasons, not undressed or racy commercials. What I believe it’s important when facing ads like that is that you have to remember who you are and what you really like. Being imposed to believe that daring more is you or wearing less is attractive is just a marketing strategy. They simply play with our intimacy just to make us believe that they’re what we want, deep inside! Haven’t found a coherent way to put it, but I think this is the closest I can get (now) from expressing my feelings about this kind of aggressive advertising that’s so hype right now…
Oh, and as for iconic – yes, I too believe back in the Moss/One days CK was truly inspired and inspirational!
