The Kaiser was deeply moved by France’s politics as of late (the very recent elections appointed a left president) but that didn’t stop him from delivering a candy – like collection. It’s fashion, baby, and we should pay attention to it! Tie Dye jeans, tie dye jackets, tie dye tees, tie dye jumpers! Anything you have in tie dye, flaunt it! It’s the tie dye season, it would appear! (oh, and while you’re at it, add a tie dye wall to your favorite room too – check out the image after the jump for tie dye home inspiration!)

But these pants? Stylish? Seriously? If so, then I’ll go grab a can of metallic car paint and just pour it on the first pair of white pants I find. And ta-daaaam! Prabal Gurung worthy! No, really! I completely understand, without being judgmental in any way, the need to wear these pants as they come straight out of the catwalk.

Prabal Gurung is one of the most sought – after young designers and fashionistas worldwide threw themselves like packs of hungry fashion wolves on his clothes. But isn’t there any reasoning in all this catwalk – to street walk circuit? Sifting through what could look ridiculous and what is really stylish? Choose your fashion with your heart & brain. June 2012 is the Brave Pixar month and I can’t wait to see it! By the looks of Merida (the main character, as shown below), Pixar either had word about a big hair trend, either they’re trying to set it as a trend. However, fire-y curly redheads have one more attribute to pin under their picture (besides gorgeous, biensur): Brave! (and what is it with women and bows this year? Katniss, Miranda… just an observation)

Sephora joined Pantone for a makeup collection with eyeliner, lipsticks, eye shadow and even makeup brushes in the said color. It really sounds like a good marketing idea and the actual products look lovely. Not to mention that they’re tinted in the color of the year! (now available at Sephora with prices from $7 to $68). Have you tried the new Pantone Sephora collection? Will you give it a tint?

Well, anyway, last week or the one before that, Gwyneth was all fashionable and cute in a stylish newsletter talking about her key looks for Spring Summer 2012. The French have their weekly Elle issues, we have Goop. Right? So if you were to pick some really fashionable pieces for this season, this could be your perfect guideline! Gwyneth is swearing by jeans – boyfriend jeans , skinny jeans, shorts or jeans skirts, she’s definitely into Jeans this spring. Gwyneth is also into skirts – leather skirts, pencil skirts, gathered skirts, she said you need them all! A body hugging dress and an orange dress, a jumpsuit and oh- so many blazers! Not bad for a Goop day, huh?

Judging by the look of the Nars Thakoon collection below, Nars Warhol is going to be at least twice as eye hurting! ahem… madly colored! The collection is expected for this Fall Winter 2012 and it’s said to have “innovative packaging, formulas and shades”. Pretty much like Warhol reinvented art, Nars is keen on reinventing makeup. With a little help from Warhol, biensur! (I’m so curious to see what kind of innovative formulas and shades they’ve come up with!)

With shapes reminding me of Nina Ricci’s shoes, or the hoof like, heel – less footwear that was very fashionable not long back (remember even Victoria Beckham was a fan). The metal edge on the soles or the furry ankles and covers point towards hoofs too. How’s that working with flowers? It’s all about nature, I guess… Horses, flowers… McQueen. Either way, if you want fierce shoes for fall and you’re not interested in comfort, try McQueen shoes! It’s a house trademark to make a challenge out of each step!
