I’ve covered so many two-wheeled wonders here that a BMW wouldn’t be such a shock, would it? What if I told that the BMW bike I’m talking about is an M?

Because the four wheels universe was already mastered and they didn’t know what to do with that much know-how and technology discipline, the guys from BMW invented a 12,9 kilos (28,38 lbs) aluminum bike ready to rock your world. There’s not much about the price, however, which is a pretty interesting detail when it comes to powerful gadgets like this! I wonder if a BMW bike would convince more people to be eco-conscious thank a classic bike label… (via)

I’m an iPhone devotee, it’s no secret by now. That doesn’t stop me from wandering the high and lows of gadgetry in order to find the latest and the most surprising!

Check out Puma’s new phone! (yep, I wish it was a joke!) Puma is releasing an active smartphone (2,8 inch touch screen, 3G, GPS, video calling, 3,2 MB camera, mobile internet, messaging) with a built in solar cell (in case you forgot your charger). Now that’s something I didn’t see coming! Jean Paul Gaultier’s Le Male turned into a USB stick!

Wait, there’s more! Not only this looks like JP Gaultier legendary perfume, but it also smells like it! You plug Gaultier’s Le Male USB Key and you’ll feel the mythical scent slowly filling up the air. There’s no word whether this very special gadget is still available (it came with the perfume during last’s summer sales, in selected Boots stores), but I think it’s a brilliant idea for fashionable geeky people. I bet if they get word of this doormat scale, modelling agency managers around the world would most definitely place one at their entry door. Just because whoever did it thought it was funny, it doesn’t mean doormats can’t get more creative than this. They can get a lot friendlier, that’s for sure!

Remember guys, we want to get people in, make them feel welcomed, fuel their tanks with hospitality, happiness and well being! The designer of this thought-to-be-funny doormat is Emilio Alarcón. He thought it would be a great idea to make people talk about their taboos and a wonderful way to start a conversation. Now if everybody agrees, I’d like you to reconsider your doormat scale and make it funnier, Senor Emilio Alarcón! Friendlier. I like all sizes entering my home and we’ll take good care of those conversations, don’t you worry about that! It’s about friendship and love, not about how much you weight! What say you? We knew this was happening, we just had no idea how far they’ll be willing to get: Julia Stegner does a comic-book-like appearance in the last Mercedes ad campaign.

Photographed by Nick Knight and dressed to the aces by Gareth Pugh, Julia looks lovely (on the Gaga’s scale of style) and the Mercedes SLS AMG behind her steals the fierceness of the entire show. Maybe that was the point and if so, then they’ve got it all right, the fashion crowd only serving as an accessory/embellishment of the actual campaign product.
