Though there was a world of controversy around Heidi Klum’s Victoria’s Secret show appearance this year (and I myself got my head wrapped around it), Heidi was only there to host. Yes, wearing lingerie, but host the event, nevertheless!

You have to tell the good from the bad, even at a simple, first sight! And at the very stylish Prada book launch party there was some good but also something disastrous in terms of Miu-Miu outfits!

Due to some unfortunate coincidence, the beautiful Zoe Saldana and self-proclaimed fashionista Chloë Sevigny went for very similar outfits. While I absolutely love Zoe’s symphony of colors, Chloë Sevigny’s ensemble pulls a shadow on the Miu Miu Fall Winter 2009 2010 collection. What say you? Cast your vote right after the first image! Though I clearly prefer chocolate over the $150 Prada book, some stars may be fully aware of Kate Moss’ motto and went for the book instead of the guilty gourmet treat.

But that’s all for the best in the end. Because we were served with a truly gorgeous Zoe Saldana wearing an unbelievably beautiful ensemble from Miu Miu, Fall Winter 2009 2010 for the launch party of the exquisite Prada book. I’m trying to decipher which is which in Carine Roitfeld’s outfit. First you have to know that she was dressed to her aces for a very special event: for her son, Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld’s gallery party.

Of course she should stand out as the crowd was stuffed with artsy people, but really, Carine, you’re shamelessly mixing Madonna and Lady Gaga which is practically double the trouble. Vintage can be addictive. But why put a stop on that thrift hunger? Because you can end up looking like this! And the worse is that you could actually believe it’s fashionable and stylish!

My wardrobe may be first-hand stuffed but when I stumble across looks like this one, I have no regrets about not second-hand crossdressing! It has a while since I wrote my last Hayden Panettiere article! There I go again, though. This girl really doesn’t learn her lesson, does she?

What’s wrong with dressing your own age? Or maybe if Miley Cyrus went for Marchesa and got away with it, Hayden thought she could pull her own Marchesa number out of Marchesa’s Fall/Winter 2009/2010 hat and look magical in Cannes! And on top of it, she just got those matching nude peep toe pumps by Christian Louboutin to perfect her Cannes look! I wish she finds a stylist! Soon! Well that surely added some more power to the sneakers factor! Michelle Obama looked perfectly casual wearing a pair of $540 gray and purple Lanvin Sneakers.

Not only she pulls the sneakers theme with great honor and fierceness, but she brings a new perspective on First Lady’s style and casual looks.Why wouldn’t she be like the rest of us? (I’m not sure about MObama’s matching top: the Capri pants go wonderfully with the Lanvin sneakers but the white and yellow graphic top looks out of vibe: you can vote right after the photo!) (via)

As I was given to understand, Katie’s table cover scarf is a go. It’s likable. Katie might have got word to keep it because here she goes again, wearing her new it scarf of the season – blue tartan-ish, table cover-ish, risqué-ish.

But wearing those pants has to be written in some no-go style code. No matter the circumstances.

The on-off pregnant sensation Katie Holmes was recently spotted wearing an interesting blue scarf. She was wearing her favorite jeans: tight and skinny, a gray cardi, the scarf, a Blackberry and some sky-high black stilettos.
