Although the shooting of the actual ad campaign is slated to begin next month in London, and the actual media diffusion of the promotional material is scheduled for September this year, we can only speculate about the advertising. What do you think the styling will be? Don’t forget that this the same Chanel No. 5 Marilyn Monroe said it’s the only thing she’s wearing to bed! Any ideas?

And, each and every time, the chocolate inside is way better than the pretty wrapping. But that’s a good thing, right? If the big game was the cover, then who’d look inside the magazine? But enough with the talk, here’s what I found inside Vogue this month: Natalia Vodianova and Michael Fassbender in a session with Craig McDean (styled by Grace Coddington, as I already mentioned) with hair by Julien D’Ys and Make up by Stephane Marais. There’s a movie behind almost every picture. There’s strict urban feeling and cold, distant, theatrical love stories around every paper corner. Natalia’s hair is lovely, though. Very un – fussy and frizzy, it’s one of those hairdo-s to remember and reproduce in the intimacy of our own beauty rooms.

Also – please notice the black leather boots – aren’t they dreamy? It’s the next big thing for fall, I’m certain! Designed by Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy, the black beauties can also be found in other colors in the Fall 2012 collection of the maison, but the ones Natalia is wearing are the ones I’d love to have in my wardrobe! Wouldn’t you?

In short: Prada designed the costumes for Final Fantasy’s 25th Anniversary’s characters. To bring even more attention on the FF fashion matter, the game characters lined up for a pictorial in Arena Homme+ with clothes from Prada’s Spring Summer 2012 men collection (there’s an entire press release on that matter here). Call me conservative, but this editorial is as creepy as possible! I have nothing against couture gaming, but CGI fashion pictorials work against my style. Completely. But maybe that’s just me. Yeah, so what if he’s 44 and she’s 24? Love’s all that matter in the end. And to be honest, they do make a cute couple, don’t they? Both pouty and British! But enough about that, let’s concentrate on Details about Jason Statham! Hardly a surprise, the cover is a pretext to talk about Jason’s action packed movies (such as Expendables 2, a movie I’m looking forward to seeing in Theaters this summer!) and try to see through his action layers, deep within Jason Statham, the real individual. Norman Jean Roy’s photographs tell the action stories through a romanticized filter as Jason fights his way in a Tom Ford suit (I wonder if Tom Ford was informed about what treatment will be inflicted on his suits during this particular shoot). Because Jason doesn’t like talking about himself, he prefers action. Choreographing his moves and fights assured his success and his place among action movies heroes like Stallone, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren.

Years after he did The Transporter, even after he left the franchise, Jason Statham is still being referred to as “the transporter”. Just like Bruce Willis will always be “Die Hard” and Stallone “Rambo”. And that’s saying something! (so is the Details interview you can check out here)

No skin – tight spandex, no Ron McDonald color feast, no flying around, no magic, no twisted inventions. Maybe just a dash of rum and a loooot of feathers! Johnny Depp has invented Disney’s Captain Sparrow as we all know him today.

(rumor has it that after the first screening of the first Pirates of the Caribbean, some Disney hotshots said Depp has ruined the Sparrow character! Ha!). And he’s about to reinvent Lone Ranger’s Tonto as the first image (as tweeted by Jerry Bruckheimer) of the Lone Ranger and his faithful companion, Tonto, is everything we’d expect from Depp! Isn’t he fierce? That crow on his head is hilarious! Truly a Mad Hatter, that one! (fiy, The Lone Ranger is set for 2013 release, under the brilliant direction of Gore Verbinski – also responsible for Rango, and three of the POTC movies)

It’s supposed to be about Men fashion and James Franco. That’s how far my German goes (wink). But really, that knife? What’s it doing there? Once again, my eyebrows are raised high in an effort to understand today’s men fashion and what men style stands for. Do you know any men who’d buy this? And could you please ask them why they’d do it? (I know it’s not GQ Russia – wink – but still, let’s take this cover into style consideration and speak our mind? wink again)

Manhattan’s 34th street is enjoying a special mural add-on: a painted replica of David Beckham’s H & M Bodywear Ad Campaign photo. Which, conveniently, doesn’t include t-shirts or any other clothing item other than a pair of white trunks. Which costs $14.95. Notice the price tag placement, as well as the H & M tag. Why would that be ?… (wink)

And because, let’s not forget, it’s the Super Bowl, there’ll be a testosterone overcharge surrounding the stadium and the TV sets at home, the good H & M people played Animals’ “Please don’t let me be misunderstood”.
