Lenny Kravitz has designed a sushi box to mark the opening of New York’s first Sushi Shop (a French chain sushi bar which opened his first restaurant in NY last month). The NYC Box Sushi Shop hints at New York’s street art with a graffiti – like inscription “Raw like New York”. Now don’t be sad if you can’t have the Lenny sushi box, just have any sushi box instead and enjoy it! I know I will!

Were you familiar with this fine line of tableware coming from your favorite orange label? Hermes never ceases to amaze me! What I thought would be a nice passing note on luxury and style turned out to be a heavy topic since Hermes has an entire table section on their online boutique. I kept clicking away, looking through every item, being more and more swept off of my feet by the beauty of the objects and the delicacy of the details! I wish I could say more about these beauties, however, Hermes doesn’t offer too many details save for the names and the prices. And if you ask me, a simple picture of almost any of the exquisite table service pieces suffices to count me in their pocket! I’m sold! They’re so beautiful! Everything I’d expect from Hermes! Balcon du Guadalquivir, Bleus D’Ailleurs, Cheval d’Orient, Fil d’Argent, Jardin des Orchidees, Les Maisons Enchantees… You name it, I’d take it! Do you have a favorite? (I voluntarily left the prices out of the story, they would’ve ruin the pleasure – wink)

Now for a different Milla, pick up a copy of this year’s (well, technically next year’s) Campari Calendar. She’s looking all couture-ish and gorgeous, completely mastering the modeling task like any other action packed movie she’s starring in! Also featured in the Campari calendar, the years before, were Eva Mendes, Jessica Alba and Salma Hayek among others. Beautiful Milla was photographed by Dimitri Daniloff according to the calendar’s theme “It’s the End of the World, Baby!”. Oooooh! (forehead slap) Now I see what’s Milla doing there – she’s the one to either save or sink them all! I’m sure Anderson must be there somewhere!

Dame Viv’s limited edition Chivas couture coats will only dress a limited number of bottles which is as sad as it is good news – I would’ve loved to get my hands on one of those charming Vivienne Westwood Chivas bottles! The Union Jack print is one of the most associated with Vivienne Westwood’s designs, not to mention that the bottle, dressed up like that, looks too pretty to dress down. Chivas, however, is not at its first couture collaboration, being previously tied to Christian Lacroix in 2009 and Alexander McQueen in 2008.

Her latest, a magazine feature in Ladygunn magazine, associated with a normal interview, modest and full of common sense logic would’ve been enough to relight the Mischa Barton love fire. Sadly, Mischa is an unstable young woman, drifting in the sea of success trying to get on board of any trend boat. Which brings us to her Tyler Shields photo shoot. Where Mischa is dressed to impress a serious chunk of raw meat.

Aside from the dangerous parallel which can be easily drawn between Tyler Shields and Terry Richardson (oddly similar names, huh?), Mischa Barton’s meaty enterprise is so cheap, ridiculous and distasteful that even PETA rose up to protest! I’m appalled by the grotesque of the photo shoot and if it’s the result of a longer than a blink thinking process, then I’m afraid there’s no hope for Mischa after all! (and no, turning people’s stomach upside down isn’t as artful as some may think)

Look at these images and re read Mischa saying how she refuses projects so she could choose something representative “which identifies me as the actor I want to be. I’m in this funny phase in my career, where it’s super important to not do a project unless I’m super passionate about it” How is this meaty project falling into your passions, Mischa? (also – please check with your dentist, smoking pot doesn’t help your teeth)
