I first got to meet this photo concept with the already worldwide renowned Dreams of Mila settings. That sweet baby girl went everywhere in her sleep, all orchestrated by her crafty, talented mama! Now something tells me this was one of the inspiration sources of Mila’s Daydreams as Jan von Holleben developed his series from 2002 until 2008. I selected only a few images I hope you’ll enjoy! The Ballerina Project was initiated by (what else?) a photographer. Dane Shitagi, original from Honolulu, started all this madly charming series ten years ago and carrying it from her native Honolulu to skyscraping New York. There’s not much to say about it and I prefer to let the images speak for themselves – they do a much better job than I with my noisy, overenthusiastic speech!
