Scott Campbell is a man of ink and art. And now he has a book to show it (and there’s more than just tattooed skin inside, as Scott Campbell found more interesting canvas to use his tools on).

208 pages with written words by Al Moran, Justin Theroux and Richard Price and photographs by uncle Terry (it’s hard to go around his “work” these days). Scott Campbell’s book found a teasing title for its front cover: If You Don’t Belong, Don’t Be Long. Belong where? In the inked club, duh! So? Ready to be / long? “Nido” is a 96 square feet cabin built by Robin Falck with $10,500 plus man hours (and this calculation comes from Robin Falck himself). The space within is unbelievable – 50 square feet bedroom & living room (in which you’ll find a bed, clothing storage, table, couch and armchairs bonus an acoustic system too!) And odd! I fear the price of these so – called fashionable home décor pieces can sometimes exceed not just our wildest imagination by placing a tag way out of our reach. Making the Marni furniture perfect for display purposes only – I’m certain that the boho rich people who’d buy it, would also make good use of it (say once / season, when they’re in their museum – like vacation house?) I would like, however, one of them chaise longues to put in my garden. It’s colorful and pretty and wouldn’t mind the humidity. Aren’t they cute, sitting together like that? I kinda expect them to come to life, like in some fancy cartoon!

Jumping in the natural marketing wave created following Galliano’s unhappy rant, Assouline is launching another Dior book. A Dior box, in fact, which contains “Dior Fashion” (written by Caroline Bongrand, former editor in chief of L’Officiel de la Mode), “Dior Fine Jewelry” and “Dior Perfume” (both written by Jerome Hanover, a journalist specialized in luxury & lifestyle topics, as wwd reported). This is the fourth editorial collaboration between Dior and Assouline – that alone should tell us how high Dior is ranked on the market. (click through for more images, click here for the gallery!)

The $75 Assouline Dior box is set for mid – May release in French, English and Chinese, available through Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Barneys. Happy fashion reading, my dahlings!

Just 5,000 short of $8 Million, Thierry Mugler’s penthouse sounds like a bargain: a 4,100 square feet duplex and an amazing view from the roof terrace all impeccably styled and preciously decorated.

What I loved the most was the glass tall ceiling from the (otherwise narrow and slightly claustrophobic) kitchen. And the lovely rooftop terrace aged deck with plenty of green to make it feel natural and welcoming but also incredibly intimate. I wish it were decorated by Mr Mugler himself, but I’m sure it was the handy work of a talented team of professional interior decorators. So let’s scroll down and take (interior) note:

But enough of the Roger Vivier accolade talk, let’s see where you can find the actual brand’s stores in the U.S.. New York, Miami and now South Coast Plaza luxury mall in California’s Costa Mesa. Each of the 11 Roger Vivier stores worldwide was reportedly designed to look like Roger Vivier’s Parisian apartment. I wonder how many rooms are in the said apartment…
