Watching the video commercial (find it right after the jump), I’m having a hard time understanding if Valeria is the Moon or just hypnotized by it; the soundtrack doesn’t help clearing the situation either (La Roux In For The Kill). Could this be a perfume addressed to the Twilight generation? I’m positive they could easily identify with this contradictory marketing strategy. Although coherent and coordinated, the new Giorgio Armani perfume ad campaign, Code Luna feels like (as far as I’m concerned) a desperate move towards new, young customers.

Secret Garden – Versailles from Christian Dior is a fashion meets art kind of advertising, in the walking Dior style. The short advertising film was made by Inez and Vinoodh in La Galeries Des Glaces – Chateau de Versailles. There’s a handful of beautiful models involved: Daria Strokous, Melissa Stasiuk, Xiao Wen Ju who seem genuinely haunted by some bad style ghost. Enjoy the Silence! YSL Touche Eclat is certainly one of those revolutionary products that changed the industry forever. I’m not a makeup enthusiast but I’ll always have these three products in my makeup case: YSL Touche Eclat, a Lancome mascara and an eye khol.

Long story short: if you haven’t tried this already, my dahlings, it’s big time to do so! Especially since YSL added the YSL Touche Eclat liquid foundation to the line! Olivia Palermo’s smile and the color palette of this ad print campaign makes Rochas’ new perfume tagline a reality: Fracheur and Joie de Vivre (Freshness and Joy of Living). Reportedly launching in France’s Marionnaud in May and in July in other European countries, the new Rochas fragrance sells for 49 euros / app. $64 for 50ml eau de toilette. What a lovely ad print!
