Anna Dello Russo jewelry, shoes, bags, everything you can call accessory, you’ll find in the H & M Anna dello Russo collection, this October. And I thought Versace was the supreme manifestation of excess on H & M’s racks. I was so wrong! You’ve never known excess until you’ve opened Anna dello Russo’s book of style! Hopefully you’ll soon discover the joy of wearing headpieces too, if you’re not already practicing the headpiece wearing sport! I found this impeccably flamboyant rose-y headpiece (can I actually associate flamboyant and white?) and I thought it’s a challenge to wear it. And wear it well! Lara Mullen (the model) looks so delicate in one of this season’s most appreciated trends: immaculate white and the headpieces come from Jane Taylor Millinery. Tom Ford Eyewear has reportedly issued a very special collection of frames for women and for men. The frames are made of gold plated metal and water buffalo horn at the temple tips and on the front. The $2,950 frames come in a leather case inside a Bakelite box in which there’s a certificate of authenticity, a cleansing cream and chamois cloth. Compliments of the house!

Regardless of the brand and the occasion (you can tell that the red hearts were especially made for Valentine’s Day), the shoe clips are a wonderful accessory in any wardrobe! And you don’t have to limit yourself to hearts and bows! When it comes to accessorizing, the sky is the limit and you’re only bound by the time you have to be creative! (because I came to find out that creativity needs a lot of time! A loooot of it!) Have you seen these before? Have you thought of one of these yourself? (hit the jump for more)

I always find little treasures in ban.do’s newsletters. They’re one of my favorite girly getaways and a precious source of inspiration for all kind of crazy beautiful little things! The shoe clips are just one of those charming, precious possessions I’d wishlist any day, eyes closed! You may notice, if you visit their lovely website, that the bow ties are out of stock and that the only shoe clips available right now are the sequined hearts (and they cost $25). If you think they work with what you have in your wardrobe, go for them!

However, if you think there’s room for more, do consider making a shoe clip of your own! You can use whatever left fabric you find around the house to do a simple bow and attach it to your shoes using clips or the glue gun (my. favorite. tool. ever!) or check out some of your hair accessories you’re not too fond of anymore, disassembly them and use them as shoe clips – it may sound complicated, but believe me, once you’re digging into it, there’s no way out! You’ll be trapped in this creative vortex and you might just discover that you skipped breakfast, lunch and dinner altogether! But you’ll have a bunch of beautiful shoe clips at the end of the day (wink)! (a quick example of shoe clips diy here; and here; oh, and here too!)

They’re totally adaptable, you can adjust the lenses to your convenience, in your own home! And it’s affordable too – it’s $19 for the moment, for a pair of these adjustable wonders. So these spectacles below are an interesting alternative to the classic ones. And I really love a good, funny frame! Especially since I’m always looking for cute frames for kids and everybody seems in such a hurry to grow up and wear either the no – frames kind or sleek metal frames. Where are those thick, colored frames I used to see everywhere when I was little?

I’m guessing you’ll be able to find the sunglasses in Ferretti’s boutiques as early as this spring, even if they’re part of the fall collection!

It would appear that Chanel has released this gorgeous set of products especially for the loving occasion, to put a fashionable spin on the classic Valentine’s Day red hued celebration. If I were to compare Chanel’s latest couture deed to this V day package, I’d definitely give my fashheart to the latter! The soft hues, the subtle shine… (daydreaming! sigh)

So I stormed into the first H & M I could find and got myself a pair of black leg warmers. Worn them long and good. And then, one year, I had this gorgeous tunic I wanted to wear for a night out. Sadly, it was too cold outside for that particular tunic. And then pop! Lightbulb! What if I’d wear my faithful black leg warmers as arm warmers? And so it started…

I kept wearing those even if people starred at me wondering if I had cut the arms off of a sweater or… All but my Adored Husband who had faith in my vision and liked my unusual leg warmers repurposing. Not only do I wear leg warmers on my (bare) arms and think they’re absolutely wonderful for cold – er weather but I think they’re great for layering down. For people like myself, who don’t like to put on an entire closet when it’s cold outside, cardi – sweater sandwich and so forth – just put your arm warmers on! And once you’re indoors, you take them out easily and you don’t have to carry a sweater on your arm for a late night drink (wink).

Anyway, long story short – I was reminded about my leg warmers turned arm warmers when I saw this pair from Maison Martin Margiela (above) in a sales announcing newsletter. That’s how I came with the idea of asking you if you ever thought about wearing them like that – or if you ever actually worn leg warmers as arm warmers (they’re really worth it, so don’t ignore them!) Which, biensur, will bring the wreath of PETA upon you. Then again there’s always the DIY – Beats by Dre or not, nobody will ever know what you hide under a thick layer of fluffy (faux) fur! Plus you save appx $600! (more if you already own the headphones!) I’m on it! (however, if I was to splurge, I’d do it for a pair of wireless Beats by Dr. Dre headphones – only $280! Or a pair of Studio HD headphones from Beats by Dr.Dre. which are only $300! – Daydreaming – )
