After Rei, Here Comes Matthew Williamson For H&M!

The word is spreading fast. That must be in compensation to those who didn’t appreciated the Comme des Garçons line for the Swedish fast fashion retailer Hennes and Mauritz. (even if I can’t imagine who didn’t enjoyed at least one piece from the very special collection!)

The next in line for the Haute Street Fashion is Matthew Williamson. Of course speculations are running wild and imaginations are already burning with desire to know how the collection’s gonna look and when it will be released. For now just this – there will also be a men line from Matthew! And the collections are set to be released at the end of April and mid-May 2009! Let’s cross our fingers! I was really curious to know who’ll follow Rei (someone with a more avant-garde-ist touch than Williamson’s prêt a porter views), but with McQueen already pris chez Target I had no preference. What about you, who you would’ve preferred? (via wwd, photos via)

Hayden Panettiere’s Dooney&Bourke Clutch

Who needs movies when you’ve got ad campaigns? Who needs models when you’ve got movie stars?

The latest celeb-turned-designer is our very own Heroes darling Hayden Panettiere, she who only had one skirt and one pair of peep toe pumps to wear not long ago! She came a long way, didn’t she? From cheerleader to Save the World soldier, Hayden promotes her own design clutch in her free time, chez Dooney & Bourke. Available in five colors with wild closure – a lion’s head plated in 24 karats gold (oh, yes, she predictably is a Leo), the clutch of Hayden’s dreams will be available from December 1st for $295. Would you pay that much for a Heroes bag? (via 1, 2)

Marc Jacobs For Bugaboo Strollers, A Best Seller At $1,500!

Now that’s some news for the very fashionistas mothers out there! Marc Jacobs designed a stroller for Bugaboo! Designed is a way of putting it, since he only done the fabric details, and that’s the print, actually. So, what Marc did, in fact, was designing a fabric print for Bugaboo strollers!

And that explains the outcome! If he would’ve imagined his “love marc” print on the actual stroller, he would’ve realized the horror of a BLACK stroller! I’m not arguing the practical side of black, but black and little baby are an absolute no-go from my point of view. However, there were only 15 of the black MJ made, each for $1,500, for sale through the Marc Jacobs showroom. You can order them in advance or by phone but you have to know there are only three of them left! Looking at the Marc Jacobs Bugaboo stroller again, don’t you suddenly feel in love with Juicy Couture MacLaren stroller! (via)

McQ Alexander McQueen for Target Collection Goes Like This…

If you can find Roberto Cavalli or Rei Kawakubo’s Comme des Garçons over at Hennes and Mauritz, what can you find over at Target?

Alexander McQueen! It’s a long time favorite of mine, ever since he was only l’enfant terrible des catwalks. Now, a confirmed successful designer, Alexander McQueen was contracted by Target to do an affordable fashion line. This Haute Street Fashion, as I like to call it, it was labeled McQ Alexander McQueen for Target and it used Liela Moss, a British music icon for muse. Scheduled for March 2009, the collection is mainly black & white palette, with gray, tan, and bright pink cobalt blue accents. The first pictures look amazing (even if I wish the red Christian Louboutin shoes would’ve been part of the McQ Alexander McQueen for Target collection too). Do you think this collection will be more convincing than H&M’s designer collection? (via wwd)

Hermès Designed Exclusive Guitar Case For Eric Clapton

If Karl can have an exclusively designed iPod trunk case from Louis Vuitton, I don’t think it’s unnatural for Hermès to exclusively design a guitar case for Eric Clapton!

I’m actually a fan of Mr Slowhand’s music and I think this luxurious case for his guitar it really isn’t over-the-common-sense-top. What I don’t really understand is why he went for crocodile and not for normal, average leather. But that’s just me. I appreciate the healthy, simple things in life! Hermes designed this exclusive case for Eric Clapton’s Martin 00028EC acoustic, a guitar that’s also specially made for the performer. The interior of this $100,000 Hermès leather guitar case is made of blue velvet (and yes, for some reason, it’s for sale! I wonder if that’s a sign of switching over to Louis Vuitton… Could it be so?) (via)

Louis Vuitton Designed Exclusive iPod Trunk For Karl Lagerfeld

You remember Karl Lagerfeld’s iPod addiction? He admitted being so high on iPods that he has someone on his payroll taking dedicated care of his little music boxes…

You also must remember something else – Marc Jacobs’ pleasure to do handbags for some people he (allegedly) knows/appreciates. You know Marc Jacobs designs for Louis Vuitton. Now you take all these elements, combine them, and you have something completely surprising: Louis Vuitton designs a iPod trunk for Karl Lagerfeld! It’s made of black Taiga leather, it bears KL, the Kaiser’s initials wrote in red on the top, near the handle. The interior is made of red microfiber, with 20 iPod holder, power charge, JBL iPod speakers and woofer holders. (more after the jump)

Madonna’s LV – Further Speculations!

You already know I love playing with Photoshop every now and then. And it’s for a good cause- laughing our hearts out!

Because Photoshop, these days, has a bad name in fashion, I feel obliged to soften it up and present it as a fun tool, not a beauty-tool as some magazines/art, beauty directors are keen on making it look like. Photoshop is fun. Let’s play! My latest addition to the Fun By Photoshop (I’m gonna turn this into a category soon!) was the Madonna in-set for Louis Vuitton. You suspected something was fishy and indeed it was. I’m not playing Photoshop perfection, I want you to see the flaws and feel the fun. As I saw it, I wasn’t the only one! Here’s another LV Madgesty running free around the blogosphere! Which one is your favorite? The Green Hairy LV Fairy? Or Stylefrizz Stylee? (the original right after the jump) (photos via ontdff)

Easy Like Sunset Dinner

I sometimes wonder where some people find (and buy) time. If there’s a general store for that or if it comes with a winning lottery ticket.

There must be no such thing. It’s all a fantasy. I came to believe that it’s all about priorities. At the end of the day, or simply when there’s time to do so, when I catch my breath, it’s all worth it, every one of the sixty seconds from that magic minute you have just for.. nothing. Well, my minute, today, was spent looking at this picture and filling my lungs with positive feelings. For a great week that’s about to start, I wish you all the very best! (photo via pixdaus)
