When it comes to Fashion Magazine September Issues, having a model cover is something to celebrate. Even if it should be an every day thing: models and fashion go together well, celebrity gets the big sales numbers.

So here’s a special issue from Vogue UK, the September 2011 issue gets a model cover. And not just any model – Freja Beha Erichsen looks funny and glittery on the cover, nothing to do with the actual inside pictorial (which Freja shares with Arizona Muse, photographed by Mario Testino on the streets of Antwerp – you can see more images right after the jump, click here for the gallery!). How amazing is that? She just married in a wonderful, fairy tale ceremony (and dress) and Kate Moss is already covering the August 2011 issue of Vogue UK! Photographed by Mario Testino (the same who photographed her wedding) and wearing a gorgeous, vintage-y Miu Miu dress, Kate looks every inch her supermodel self!

I think the thought of seeing an actual frizzy hairdo on a magazine cover was something I hardly ever imagined possible! However, Vogue UK puts Vanessa Paradis on their July 2011 cover with a very strange looking hairstyle – something that would appear to be home made, frizzy and naturally curly?

If it isn’t, whoever styled Vanessa’s hair really knows how to give a natural look to a specific hairdo! However, they used too much photoshopping for an ageless cover! Two more images have surfaced, as photographed by Mario Testino, but so far it’s more interesting and controversial than beautiful, wouldn’t you agree? (Vogue via)

If there was still doubt persisting in your mind that wedding is the new it, here’s Vogue UK ready to break those doubts! The May 2011 issue of British Vogue is sooooo bridal, it makes you wonder if they this wasn’t originally meant for a bridal magazine.

But no, Mario Testino‘s Wedding Belles as impersonated for the cover by Freja Beha Erichsen, Lara Stone and Natalia Vodianova look stunning, scared, nervous, unreal and well… tres bridal. Almost too bridal for my taste. How much more bridal are you willing you take? For the record – I’d rather see Freja as the Harry Winston bride, I don’t like Mario Testino‘s vision as much as smiling Freja! It would be strange talking about Kate Winslet’s new Lancome ad and not mention her Vogue UK cover. So here I am, talking about how blond and beautiful she looks on the cover of the fashion Bible, Vogue, the UK edition, April 2011.

Such a strong woman, such a great interpreter, such a beautiful person. Though I read somewhere that Melissa Leo’s F word drop in the Oscar speech was largely due to Kate Winslet with whom she’s costarring in a (television ?) project. Why is that relevant? Because it’s hard to look at immaculate Kate and ignore the “cursing like a sailor” description made by Melissa.

I was wondering about Vogue UK and what they’ll come up with to cover January 2011. Keira Knightley. That’s what! And, to my surprise, she’s looking fresh like a rose and lovely like an angel.

Photographed by Mario Testino wearing pieces from Miu Miu, Sonia Rykiel, Prada and Marni, Keira looks grown up and classy. She even ditched her usual pout, which doubles the class in my opinion. And even if I think her Vogue appearance is no coincidence and it’s surely because she has some new movie to promote, I have to admit I like Keira’s cover (I’m still uncertain about her pictorial – it looks pretty strange – click through and take a look yourself; click here for the gallery!). Now let’s get the obvious out of the way: sure I was going to bring Emma Watson’s Vogue UK cover on board! Bring on the “men of style”! I’m guilty as charged!

Getting a December 2010 cover feels like one of the most normal things to do with the new Harry Potter soon in theaters. (can’t believe we’re talking about December covers already! I still feel the summer pouring down my veins!) With her new cut and her new un-Hermione approach, Emma looks and feels like a breeze of fresh air (sure, if we count the Twiggy flavor out).
