To own and wear.

Although this one is about night-black sneakers (Halloween oblige), I do confess I have just as strong obsession for grey and beige sneakers. However, should you search for these colors, you’ll easily notice they’re very rare. Especially the ones I wish for: solid grey or solid beige ones with no visible logo and matching soles (all grey, all beige respectively).

Roger Vivier is certainly one of the French fashion labels enjoying serious success Stateside. Could be because of the celebrity ambassadors who were seen constantly wearing Roger Vivier (think Katie Holmes and her fashionable daughter, Suri), could be because of Roger Vivier’s brand identity consultant, Ines de la Fressange whose style is definitely worth of fashion praise. Much like her daughter’s, Nine D’Urso.

But enough of the Roger Vivier accolade talk, let’s see where you can find the actual brand’s stores in the U.S.. New York, Miami and now South Coast Plaza luxury mall in California’s Costa Mesa. Each of the 11 Roger Vivier stores worldwide was reportedly designed to look like Roger Vivier’s Parisian apartment. I wonder how many rooms are in the said apartment…

And what do we have here? Another one of those correspondence we actually did receive goodie! And what a gorgeous goodie it is! Our friend, Ellington, got to my platform sensitive self and melted me allover this great find! A pair of purplicious sandals from Senso Diffusion I’m also sharing with you. Because you know, you always share goodies with your friends!

Someone out there thought that if jeans are in high fashion and so are boots, then pairing the two together in the most simplistic manner possible, it will surely make a fashion hit. Somewhere. Who said obsessions aren’t good for one’s moral? A serious dose of fash – obsessions can keep you occupied and offer you dream subjects as long as you need to consume it.

My new fashobsession is called YSL Vavin tote. It’s a men bag, from the spring 2008 collection (was $2,295) now available on special request only. But what a gorgeous bag! Regardless my dislike of black bags / dresses / shoes and serious aversion for all things with heavy logos on, this tote makes a pretty exception. Pretty, expensive and hard to find. Vivienne Westwood and Melissa teamed up again only this time it’s for a children collection! Genius, pure genius! Someone should have come challenge the crocs, at least for our lovely little girls! They deserve something far classier and more stylish! The shoes look marvelous and they get my standing ovations for the initiative. (that is before I saw the price tag.
