What’s it like to have a completely respectable age and a completely respectable body? Well, it’s like this: you model for a fast fashion store after having “designed” your own line of clothing! And if that’s not enough, then you should also know that you have the possibility to improve your looks with digital enhancement, regardless of the clothing quality.
At least she’s honest about that one thing, even if we don’t get too many details about how her inspiration flew out of nowhere and she suddenly felt full of a new self – Liz Hurley, the clothing designer. So urging that she absolutely had to draw few bikini sketches for Mango.

You can’t be a complete unknown and feature in the pages of a fashion magazine. It’s an elementary Wintour trick going overseas.
Vogue Nippon has the chance to prove Anna’s marketing strategies on their own stands – in June they’ll feature a special photo shoot – Hello Kitty graces the pages of Vogue. The most famous anime cat is getting a most fashionable debut with Dior.

Japanese animation and characters have been a strong influence on the fashion world in the last few seasons, but Kitty is special (…). Fashion people all know her name and face and always say they love her. That’s why we at Vogue wanted to do something involving her. Declared an official from Vogue Nippon
Is that so? Or is it that superhero frenzy getting everywhere already?

You already know, I’m sure, with summer looking over the shoulder, everyone’s getting into tan business.
When I came across these pictures, I was truly convinced it was a summer special from Chanel. I was so wrong! It’s the Chanel Makeup Collection for fall! If you believed we were safe from metallic, now here’s Chanel saying not!

Fall Makeup is all about gold. Said to be inspired by Coco Chanel’s apartment with all the brown, bronzes and gold shades, the collection is due in July and contains a $30 Gold Fiction (nail polish), $56 Facettes D’Or (loose powder), $26 Gold Light Glossimer (lip gloss) $27 Rouge Hydrabase (in copper, plum, coral) $56 Shadow Eye Palette (gold, coffee, ivory, dark green).
I think it’s not that important that an average polish from Chanel is around $20 and this special fall one is $10 more…Is it now? You see, they’ll try to convince you it’s a fashion special, but I think it’s a recession special…

So ladies, hurry up on that black and blue bottles, the new black is gold! And the new blue is Kaléidoscope (shiny green gold). Sounds like a lizardous fall chez Chanel.
Ready to follow (all things to be said - I find Natalia’s pose for this campaign rather strange. Like she would be bored to impossible)?

Beauty comes from the inside. But what if, this time, it would come from deep under…water?
This photography project is signed by Nadia Moro and involves five graduates from the Fashion Design and Styling programs in twenty five pictures shots in five days. The amount of work is impressive and the dedication behind the project materialized this poetic imagination speaking by itself in the few pictures I chose for you to enjoy too.

Today I came across some interesting pictures in the form of an advertorial for a shoe store from Hong Kong.
On Pedder was established in 1996 and is completely committed to luxury. However, money spending isn’t really the point of my article (this time). The visuals of their Spring Summer 2008 campaign is the main focus of my writing.

Is there a new trend for the rich and bored? Like … “oh, look, my things look too put together, maybe if I’ll tear them here and there and then stitch them up together? Oh, wait? Can’t someone do that for me? Like a designer, or whatever….?”
Chloé Saskia Patchwork Pouchette. For only $1,560 you get a ….well… something that looks like a clutch and resembles nothing at all (if it had more colors, I would have proudly compared it with a parrot…).

Aaaand, for the special super price of $1,950 you can get a Fendi Rainbow Clutch that looks like a… kindergarten handwork made from old boots or a leather vest you wanted to give away for charity. I look at it and still don’t get the name-connection. Who has ever seen a rainbow that ugly, raise your hand, please! (and watch out for the kiss blogosphere too! I think they might have a scoop on the bi-colored-rainbows)
