Did you notice how amazing Charlize Theron was at tonight’s 2013 Oscars? When I first spotted her on the Red Carpet, I quickly revised my info about the movies participating in this year’s competition and couldn’t find Charlize’s part… Until Seth MacFarlane’s Oscars opening, when she did her dance number with Side Effects’ Channing Tatum.
And she was just as graceful as she was walking down the Red Carpet! There’s something almost Royal to Charlize Theron – a certain grace and elegance to her, beyond the clothes she’s wearing or the style she’s showcasing. For the 2013 Oscars, Charlize wore a custom white dress by Christian Dior.

I had to be quick and erase the image of Anne Hathaway’s revealing, ill fitting dress from my mind. So I chose something radically different: Jennifer Aniston!
Jennifer chose a Valentino fire red dress from the Spring 2013 Couture collection but she would’ve been radiant regardless of her fashion choice! It’s rare to see such an honest display of happiness on the Oscars Red Carpet! Jennifer came accompanied by her fiancé, Justin Theroux (have you seen that giant engagement rock? It looks striking against the Ferragamo red clutch – check it out after the jump!). Jennifer is presenting at this 2013 edition of the Oscars!

2013 Oscars Fashion: Anne Hathaway Revealing Pink Prada Dress

While she was lovely and her fashion choices were impeccably stylish and timeless for the previous Red Carpet occasions, Anne Hathaway will clearly make it to a lot of bad dressed lists tonight!
Not only her Prada light pink dress was ill fitting, but it was also awfully indiscreet for such an important occasion. Or maybe it was just the weather? Either way, let’s concentrate on the positive aspects. Her 2013 Oscars pink dress appears to be custom made, with a look from the Spring 2013 Prada collection in mind (you’ve seen more similar designs on the Critics Choice Awards Red Carpet).
2013 Oscars Fashion: Jennifer Lawrence Light Pink Dior Couture Dress

Luckily, the awards season is on its final roll, otherwise Jennifer Lawrence would’ve ran out of Dior Spring 2013 Couture dresses to wear! Clearly since she joined the Dior camp as the new Miss Dior (and oh! what a breathtaking Miss Dior she makes indeed!), Jennifer Lawrence was Dior faithful. Through good and bad! (remember her navy blue dress incident from the SAG Awards this year?)
For the 2013 Oscars, Jennifer chose a light pink Dior Couture gown, like I said, from the Spring 2013 Couture collection. She left out the head piece (luckily!) but she did wear a pretty interesting necklace, hanging on her back…

2013 Oscars Fashion: Zoe Saldana Alexis Mabille Ombre Dress

Clearly a favorite of mine, but also a perfect example of what Red Carpet fashion should be like, Zoe Saldana, my dahlings! She was wearing a stunning Alexis Mabille ombre dress for the 2013 Oscars and she looked… well, how to put it mildly? Otherworldly stylish! (oh, and I guess Zoe’s tiny waist puts a stop on those pregnancy rumors…)
Zoe’s dress is part of the Spring 2013 Couture collection from the French house Alexis Mabille. She matched it with a lovely pair of Roger Vivier bow shoes.

I did mention something about Old Hollywood Glamour, haven’t I? Well you’ll going to see a lot of that tonight! Here’s the charming Amy Adams wearing a beautiful Oscar de la Renta light lavender dress and looking nothing short of fabulous on the Oscars 2013 Red Carpet!
The dress is a classic de la Renta design, the long, train-y skirt with a lot of fabric is fit for a princess and the light lavender shade compliments Amy’s naturally fair complexion.

I’ll start tonight’s modest Oscars 2013 Red Carpet report with Jessica Chastain. The lady really got it right this time! Her custom made Armani Prive bronze dress is fitting, complimenting and absolutely ravishing!
Also, judging from what I saw on tonight’s Red Carpet, it’s all about Old Hollywood glamour ladies! Loooong tresses, a lot of extensions happening, a lot of bling and couture – ish dresses! Jessica Chastain, my dahlings, is just the beginning of a long glam road paved with sequins and nothing but stunning ladies wearing beautiful gowns!
Jennifer Lawrence Outstanding Miss Dior Ad Campaign

Just before the Oscars telecast, a modest reminder of how amazing Jennifer Lawrence is! The young actress is conquering the audience and the fashion industry and it’s all on merit!
Her Silver Linings Playbook performance was simply stunning, her dramatic depth is really striking for a 23yo and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for her to pick up an Oscar for that role! Because, as far as the Dior engagement goes, I’m certain everyone agrees that she’s the absolute grace and flawlessness! A single look at her new Miss Dior 2013 Ad Campaign is enough to declare all of the above and more!
