Men’s Magazines Summer Covers Go To Fashion Models

Because a fashion model’s abilities and appealing goes way beyond the pages of Vogue or the latest women fashion collections presentations, Summer brings a considerable amount of diverse engagements for them. For instance, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Irina Shayk and Isabeli Fontana have walked the Men’s Fashion Week’s Givenchy collection just the other day.

Men’s magazines love a good fashion model as a cover cliché! Bianca Balti, Emily Ratajkowski, Chrissy Teigen (so far) are the summer’s proud cover girls drawing the men population to the magazines newsstands. As far as the zero size controversies, usually surrounding a fashion models’ body, they seem to have caught a special summer break since they’ve been contracted for very body-explicit pictorials in these respected publications.

Greg Lotus has photographed Italian beauty Bianca Balti in a very boho atmosphere that could’ve very well been featured in any other fashion magazine (sure, with more clothes on, but still, the set and the poses are pretty tasteful). Chrissy Teigen and Emily Ratajkowski are both July 2014 GQ covergirls : Emily holds the US front as photographed by Michael Thompson while Chrissy blesses the Mexico audience with her radiant smile. And more. Belacher and Everard have signed the pictorial as styled by Erin Mcsherry.

There’s only so much you can explicitly show on a men’s magazine cover, so that all three publications end up in a cliché newsstand competition for the bra size cup! The winner takes it all and in this case, it must be Bianca!

Spiced up by a strangely romantic mélange of lace and country side, Greg Lotus delivers the season’s most tasteful men magazine foray into the models’ world. Followed closely by a ‘wicked games’ Emily Ratajkowski even Chris Isaak would not mind having in his already legendary video! Crissy Teigen, though, makes for an awkward cover with her school-girl pose and obviously botching Photoshop after-touches.

With such models walking the men’s fashion week’s high profile runway, gracing the men’s magazines cover pictorials it’s safe to say that summer belongs to professional fashion models!

I do not see men’s fashion or the love of style or sport, I just see that women are objects and straight men LOVE boobs.
Lame. Men’s magazines gay or straight follow the same theme, they just switch the genders.

exactly – the lack of imagination and permanent focus on certain curves of a woman’s body make these magazines worthy of a big, flashy ‘lame’ label!

I agree with Ellington and so do you? Then why did you crown Bianca as the winner? Of course she’s very pretty but looks like plastic in these pics. And I don’t mind these magazines but don’t care about them either and never has. Even bought them for my men. That’s how less I care. ;)
