There’s one thing people love more than admiring the Red Carpet fashion, and that’s the actual celebrities walking it! Coupling these two, literally, let’s take tonight’s theme seriously and look ‘Beyond Fashion’ with world’s most watched and talked about couples right now, right here on the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s 2014 Gala Red Carpet!
Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield
It was hard to pick a favorite, but the moment these two lovebirds walked the Red Carpet, it was obvious that their magic star would outshine the others. By far! The energy, the fun, there’s nothing standing in the way of this couple’s reigning over the world with their magnetism! They make a youthful, unconventional but fashionable couple on the 2014 Met Gala Red Carpet.
Charlize Theron and Sean Penn
Although we talked about them before, we’ve seen pictures of them together since they became a couple, the beautiful Charlize is always a stunning appearance and walking the Red Carpet at Sean Penn’s side for the first time, feels really natural for her. A very strong, fashion conscious and coordinated appearance on the 2014 Met Gala Red Carpet.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
Their love is only outstrenghtened by their privacy, both Blake and Ryan being married since 2012 and rarely making joint appearances as a couple. Tonight they shine bright and glamorous, oozing old school charm and Hollywood fashion on the 2014 Met Gala Red Carpet.
Beyonce and Jay Z
Making quite the entrance, even wrapping up the official Metropolitan Museum Red Carpet report of the evening, the most powerful couple of the entertaining scene was as coordinated and as charming as ever. Having the eyes of the world upon them constantly is something that requires a lot of careful planning and thinking. A showstopping couple dancing and fashioning the world one tune at the time on the 2014 Met Gala Red Carpet.
Victoria and David Beckham
The stunning pair makes yet another fantastic statement as a couple. They’ve conquered the crowds hearts from the day they got together and they’re going stronger than ever! Always the coordinated, very fashionable appearance on the 2014 Met Gala Red Carpet (it’s actually not the first time Victoria wore white on the Met Gala Red Carpet, but definitely the best since her 2008 lace stint).
Sarah Silverman and Michael Sheen
Make no mistake, this couple is really something! And all you need is a look at the way they pose together to know just how connected and special they are. A surprising, classic and classy appearance of a newcomer celeb couple on the 2014 Met Gala Red Carpet.
Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady
The absolute golden couple of fashion and football seems to share a love connection that’s at least as strong as their respective careers. Far from shying away from cameras, they put on a sincere display of affection right on the 2014 Met Gala Red Carpet (for Mario Testino’s lenses, nonetheless!)
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
Whether they will marry in May, that remains to be seen as the Vogue cover couple makes a triumphant entrance in the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s tents, just outside the very exclusive Gala (a ticket costs $25,000). Their game is the gossip fashion and they sure know how to keep the press flame always burning. The couple of the moment, as Anna Wintour described them, walking the 2014 Met Gala Red Carpet.
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp
Saving the best for last? Not the case! Johnny Depp looks torn from one of Tim Burton’s scenarios whereas his much younger fiancée, Amber Heard, is the picture of boring Hollywood Red Carpet fashion. It’s hard to look at this couple and feel alive… One of the oddest appearances on the 2014 Met Gala Red Carpet.
Chanel Iman and ASAP Rocky
Hopefully not the most relevant image, as both Chanel and her longtime boyfriend (fiancé), ASAP, seem more conflicted than coupled up while attending the Fashion’s most glamorous Ball. I’ll try to only concentrate on the picture at left, where although un-coordinated, they were at least looking happier.
As an added bonus:
