Three gorgeous ladies who are also heavily pregnant are a true inspiration for so many pregnant women out there who can still look gorgeous no matter how far into their pregnancies they are!
It’s hard to pick a favorite as Kerry Washington’s mauve dress was so different from Olivia Wilde’s black dress and Elsa Pataky’s emerald green lace dress was clearly a showstopper! But I enjoyed seeing them all on the 2014 Oscars Red Carpet, and I truly believe they were pregnant, gorgeous and stylish! (help me decide which pregnant lady was the most fashionable by commenting below!)
Pregnant Kerry Washington 2014 Oscars mauve dress Jason Wu
I would’ve loved to be a fly on the wall when Kerry decided to wear this Wu dress on the Oscars Red Carpet tonight! The amethyst hued wrapped sheet dress she’s wearing seems to be held in place by a giant silver hair pin. The simplicity and the elegance of the dress designed for her by Jason Wu are undeniable (below a very similar dress straight from the Spring Summer 2014 Jason Wu catwalk which might’ve been the departure point in designing’s Kerry gown).
Graceful, elegant and stylish in her third trimester, Kerry Washington wore a burgundy lipstick and matte burgundy nails to compliment the rosy hues in her dress. Finishing her look with silver sparkling Louboutin pumps and equally silver jewelry from Jennifer Meyer, Kerry was just as fashionable as she was pregnant!
Pregnant Elsa Pataky 2014 Oscars green lace dress Elie Saab
Can you imagine what it feels like, for a designer, to have a catwalk dress adapted and modified for a third trimester twins pregnant lady? Elsa Pataky wore a custom made emerald lace Elie Saab dress and she looked amazing! Heavily pregnant, but nothing short of fashionable!
Accessorizing her look with a gorgeous smile, she chose jewelry from Graziela Gems, Dana Rebecca Designs and Broken English and proudly walked at (Thor’s side.. ahem…) her husband, Chris Hemsworth’s side.
Pregnant Olivia Wilde 2014 Oscars black dress Valentino
Although it’s hardly visible, Olivia Wilde’s simple, boring black dress was actually quite lovely from the back! She was lucky enough to fit into a classic design presented in the Valentino pre-fall 2014 collection.
The back white neck bow and the white inserted panel were the key charm to this black dress which Olivia chose to pair with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Her hair was pulled back in an elegant French twist save for a few strands curled around her face. Smiling beautifully and opting for an eyes-focused makeup, Olivia was pregnant and fabulous on the 2014 Oscars Red Carpet! (images getty, styledotcom)
